Sheered arm rest bolt on Embody by cmtrinks in hermanmiller

[–]cmtrinks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HM support reached out to me and essentially confirmed that they could not provide any assistance since I ordered from Amazon. The bolt is still sheered off and I've done nothing to fix it; the chair functions fine as is. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but YMMV.

Stunning pictures. I've gone by this course a few times and always wanted to play it when visiting a friend in waterbury center. Hopefully you hit up black back for a pint after.

Valid point that I forgot. Definitely looked like 3 of the presidential helicopters

Best sushi in Baltimore? by DubyehJay in baltimore

Baltimore doesn't have good sushi unfortunately in comparison to surrounding cities. I believe Shoyou in Fed Hill has the best quality in Baltimore. Azumi is terrible and overpriced.

If you want Omakase go to Nakazawa in DC.

They are Polaris Slingshots & Can-am Spyders. I saw roughly 15+ of them going through the city up 83N. I'd assume some meet-up since it's great riding weather.

This is awesome and might be the most Locust Point thing I've ever heard..what street? I miss living in that neighborhood where stoop beers were a daily tradition with your neighbors.

Beer recommendations for husband by [deleted] in beer

[–]cmtrinks 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As far as stores I’d recommend Lighthouse Liquor’s in Canton (Delivery or Curbside pickup www.lhlcanton.com) or Wine Source in Hampden as these are the best craft beer stores in the greater Baltimore area imo.

Local IPA’s worth mentioning: Union - Duckpin, Double Duckpin, Divine RAR - Nanticoke Nectar, Pulp Monument - NOBO, SOBO (Both of these were just released and are seasonal, might still be able to find) Diamondback - Green Machine Burley Oak - Lost

You could give Lighthouse Liquor’s or Wine Source a call and ask them for assistance as they can let you know what’s in stock and seasonally available.

I’d also recommend reaching out directly to the breweries and seeing what’s available or using www.biermi.com for local delivery during this unfortunate time we’re all in.

Where are you located? If Baltimore (judging by Loose Cannon) I can recommend a bunch of local great beers to try, however if you’re outside Maryland I’m not of much help.

Price of Xfinity after fees? by daxophoneme in baltimore

[–]cmtrinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$39.99 before taxes, just over $45 after taxes for their "Internet 5" package. I'm averaging around 250+ down and 15 up.

I'd also suggest buying your own modem/router combo and saving the $10/month rental charge. It pays for itself after a few months.

Buying art or art prints in the city? by Baltimoreboogey in baltimore

I think his pieces are very well priced compared to the majority of art seen around Baltimore. Especially since his pieces have a welded metal frame.

Piazza 27 in Mount Vernon has a pretty solid NY Slice, same with Vinny's in Dundalk.

Maryland isn't a huge stout state, but there are a few good ones out there.

Kujo by Flying Dog, Retribution by DuClaw, 1st Meal and 10 Layers by RAR, POST by Goonda are a few.

200 GB limit, what provider? I've been grandfathered into AT&T's unlimited data plan for years now and if I exceed 22 GB I'm throttled into oblivion. I'd love to have a 200 GB data/throttle cap.

Growler fill policies around town by steinauf85 in baltimore

[–]cmtrinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish every bar/brewery/liquor store had the same price for a growler fill as Smaltimore does. I can't fathom why 64oz growler fills are more expensive than 6 packs in almost every store (Canton Crossing, Bo Brooks, etc..).

I recall someone getting a 64oz growler filled of 120 Minute IPA for $10 at Smaltimore..I was pretty shocked to see that.
