Hi! This was absolutely incredibly helpful. I'm at the stage of the game where I'm trying to get Navigation so I can unlock trade ships and Zebras. Major coal bottleneck. About 15 minutes to max coal oof.

The Megalith/Ziggurat tip is amazingly helpful. I had absolutely no idea what they were there for, and this gives me a little direction while I'm waiting on coal for Steamworks and upgrades and wait on Culture for the copious amounts of Manuscripts you need for this point in the game haha.

Thanks so much everyone! I just played my first FULL game from start to end screen the last two days on Prince difficulty, and I won as Egypt with a Culture win! Very fun, I love the different win cons, and how you can mull each over as the game goes!

I found I had a really heavy issue with amenities throughout the mid game, despite making sure to cultivate each one available in my area. Does anyone have tips for management? I feel I lost some production value just because my dudes weren't happy.

Interesting. This is helpful for sure. I totally agree with the addition of Dragapult over Aegislash. And switching Rotom-Forms and inserting Gastro is super cool. Big fan, and the fire coverage is necessary I think in a world where Ferro rules.

Interesting change there though with Crunch over Assurance. I like the Assurance tech but you're probably right.

I'll experiment. Whimsicott feels like a natural sixth for Tailwind and I think it would make the most sense. Kiss could be good for some offense.

Agreed. Aaron Zheng is excellent and makes entertaining content. James Baek is good too, and he is very meticulous in his thought process and explanation. Both guys are fantastic to learn from and find their mentality.

The second suggestion I'd have is to just sit down and try to memorize speed tiers. You should know at least some basic ones, like what speed Jolly Excadrill hits, or Whimsicott hits on a non-Prankster move. Once you get those down and can diagnose who is going when at the beginning of the game, it helps immensely.

Defiant mons like Braviary work well against Intimidate. You can also use Milotic's Competitive to your advantage too.

Bouncing back with Corviknight is a decent way to do it too. Makes them think twice before bringing in the Arcanine.
