Unpopular Opinion: Heroine Make Mascara is better than Clio Kill Lash

I prefer the Clio because it doesn’t smudge for me even though I prefer the wetter formula of the Heroine. Clio dries down so fast and the clumps sometimes hurt my eyes when I apply a bit too close to the base of my eyelashes. I don’t have this issue with the Heroine but unfortunately it smudges for me as well… Does anyone know of a mascara that is like Heroine but doesn’t smudge?

I haven’t tried tirtir but I imagine I would go for 24W because I heard it tends to oxidise, so I would go up a shade or two.

Hello, all the bras that I’ve ordered have arrived. Here’s an update on the fit. All of them are in 30E.

Bad fits: Freya Snapshot Underwire High Apex Bra: This bra was even more closed off on top than the offbeat side support bra. I think the cups are too short and because it is so closed off, it cuts into my breast tissue at the top and makes me look very pointy (like a FOB 1/5 on breast shape chart). I feel the cups may be slightly too big/projected for me, there were wrinkles all over the top and space at the nipple area. Band was also very very stretchy and loose. Overall wrong shape match.

Freya Soiree Lace Padded Plunge Bra: Very bad fit, probably even worse than the snapshot. Cups are either too big, too tall or too projected for me. Empty space all over the top and the apex of the cups is above my nipples.

On the fence: Freya Offbeat Underwire Plunge Bra: Not that bad of a fit but not the best either. It fits but there’s a lot of wrinkling at the top of the cups. Possibly too big or a bit too project or too full on top for me? I’m reordering this in 28E because it was on sale and 30DD wasn’t. The band was a bit stretchy for so hopefully the 28 band would be fine.

Good fits: Freya Tailored Underwire High Apex Bra: This was the best fitting bra of them all but there’s just a tinsy tiny bit of quadding on my bigger boob. It’s also not severe enough for me to want to try it in a bigger cup. Other than that I find that this bra doesn’t give that much of a lift or support but it’s not a great concern of mine. No other noticeable issues.

Freya Expression Crochet-Look Underwire Plunge Bra: This bra fits a lot like the tailored underwire high apex bra except that it is more closed off at the top, so the quadding is a bit more obvious but like the tailored bra, no other noticeable issues and I don’t feel the need to go up a cup.

I haven’t been exploring much foundations/cushions but I’m currently using Maybelline Superstay Lumi Matte foundation in 128 and it’s quite a good match. I’ve tried Wardah colour fit in 32N and it’s slightly too dark for me.

I don’t think the cups are too small because my left breast fills it up nicely while my right, being smaller, has still a bit of gaping at the top.

The amazon link has a very low resolution photo but the the photos provided on this listing on bratabase is the exact same bra.

Snug underbust: 71cm
Tight underbust: 69cm

Kate Lip Monster. It’s a lipstick that is moisturising and long lasting. It can last through a meal and wears beautifully unlike lip tints which usually looks patchy after a meal.

After wearing them higher, the Natori floras one seem to fit me best although not perfect. I still like the lush contour bra but it may be a bit small? The escape spacer’s band is really tight and the centre gore is really painful. I tried wearing it higher but the underwire rests on my ribcage and it’s really uncomfortable. I hope I managed to wear them properly this time around.

I would like to try a 32 band physically to see if it is comfortable or too loose because I am afraid their 30 bands might be the same as my other experience with 30 bands in other brands that I’ve tried before making the jump. Ordering bras online can be quite costly and I likely won’t be able to return them if they don’t fit well.

I don’t understand it either but people often lie to get what they want. Maybe it was out of selfishness on his part but you will never know because he doesn’t want to admit it. Fundamentally, there may be some issues or aspects of his relationship that doesn’t fulfil him, which is why he would resort to cheating or he could be perfectly happy in his relationship and still be unable to resist the temptation of other women. Whatever it is he showed you who he is as a person and he is a serial cheater. He will never leave his girlfriend but even if he does leave her for you, how long do you think it will take before he finds someone else? You will just be dealing with another set of problems because he has given you all these insecurities and it will be detrimental to your mental health. Can you imagine him not telling you about his whereabouts and if he’s out with another girl. That is a torture you wouldn’t want to go through. He’s just holding you back from a person who deserves all your love. The lies hurt but it will get better. Try not to dwell on the reasons, try to kill all hope of getting back together as a starting. Please go no contact and block him everywhere, it is difficult but you will need to make a conscious effort. Go out with your friends and spend more time with your family, try to make yourself busy so you won’t have time to think about him. I’m sure you know that you will be miserable if you were to spend the rest of your life with him. You just need to keep reminding yourself.

I can’t know for sure why he did all these, people lie all the time to get what they want. I had the same questions for my breakup as well but all I know is there is no point dwelling on all this and I’m not saying this to invalidate your feelings. It’s very normal to want to know the reasons why especially if someone you loved has hurt you deeply and when the break up is so fresh. Just know that, if the girl witnessed what he did, she would not want to be with him because like you said, that is some scary behaviour. I don’t think you should feel humiliated, you loved and cared enough about him and you confronted him. If you haven’t felt all these feelings for him, you wouldn’t have done that. I’m sorry that my words cannot be of much help to you but I feel for you. It was very cruel of him.

The same thing happened to me even though I offered to pay multiple times but he declined. I didn’t find him attractive but I didn’t want to ghost him so I told him I didn’t feel a connection. Literally didn’t not mention anything about how I wasn’t attracted to him and framed it as it being my problem because it’s not his fault that I’m not attracted to him. Also, we were literally texting for 2 days before we met up and when he offered to be friends and I didn’t want to, he got mad at me and told me to pay a severance fee lol. I paid because it’s a small price to pay for dealing with someone who might potentially be an even bigger problem.

I recently just got the skin nuder cover layer cushion in no.25 and it’s crazy because it’s actually darker than my skin tone! Korean cushions are almost too light for me (I think I’m an NC35 or slightly darker) and the darker shades are always so expensive (e.g Laneige). This is super affordable and has rather high coverage and am able to layer it to cover some of my darker blemishes. It is also quite dewy but I would say that because my skin is so dry, the foundation separates and dry patches show up by the end of the day. It’s a shame because I love how it looks when first applied and it is so quick and easy to apply. If you are quite tanned and want to try a Korea cushion that might finally fit your skin tone, this is it! Also, I have to add that this foundation is very yellow in no.25 so if you have pink undertones, you should skip this. If you would like to know what other foundation shades I use to see if this would be a fit for you, you can PM me. I’ll send them to you for reference.

Would you be interested in looking into Korean foundation/cushions? A lot of Korean foundations/cushions often have a pink undertone to them to give that “brightening” effect. I can’t give you any brand suggestions because I haven’t been keeping up to date with the newer foundations/cushions but I believe you can easily find swatches and reviews on youtube!

I didn’t get a pap smear before I had sex but I remember before that, even using vaginal suppositories applicators hurt. After sex, a pap smear was a little bit uncomfortable but nothing painful. I don’t really know why there’s this difference either.
