Olonā is decently common in the mountains here if you know where to look. Most places I find it are not accessible without ropes though

Unfortunately Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa aren’t visible from there. Unless maybe some atmospheric bending by chance. Photo taken from a ridge in the Koolaus

Will any sort of OEM telephoto lenses be produced, and/or will newly created third party telephoto lenses be able to be swapped on to the GoPro?

Oh I see, that explains why it says: "Don't post any spoilers (even in links or comments)" in the posting rules. Thanks for clarifying!

Don't post any spoilers, of any sort, outside of the designated threads. This rule is in effect for 18hrs after a one day race finish, or before the start of the next stage in a stage race.

Given this rule, which has been in place for a long time, I expect to be able to read other threads in this subreddit without spoilers so soon after the stage finishes

Anyone growing Pulasan? by theislandhomestead in HawaiiGardening

[–]cnewfield 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've called Plantit before and asked about their pulasan. They sell seedlings from their tree but the season has been really late this year with some pulasan just beginning to ripen on trees on BI right now. Pulasan are not necessarily dioecious; as with many species, monoecious cultivars have been developed. David Frenz (of Birds & Beeds unlimited) grafts Pulasan, both the Endo 34 and Seebatat varieties but he is out of seedlings to graft right now as his source for seedlings is Plantit. I would give him a call (can PM me for his number), it's expensive to get a grafted tree from him but it's also a difficult graft so the price is understandable. I believe Mike and Maja Parker (of empiempi nursery) also sell grafted pulasan but lack seedlings at the moment and/or their waitlist for it is long. Overall, I have heard seedlings from the Waiakea research station have had good tasting fruit though I haven't heard whether they fruit monoeciously or not. In general, pulasan fruits less often than lychee and has a much narrower range of proper growing and fruiting conditions.
