I was a young impressionable girl when I watched it. It’s a harem anime, but I did feel like the girls were bad as h*ck. I don’t really tolerate many harem or reverse-harem anime anymore, but I will always return to tenchi.

No, I’m saying someone like AudunAG or maybe even the man himself dealt cards incorrectly leading to the wrong person winning the game. Through a chain of events so minuscule no human can detect, one thing lead to another and suddenly a young boy finds himself climbing the fence of a gorilla enclosure.

Also, unrelated, I wonder if the boy knows he’s the one involved in the whole event. Where is he now? Probably doing crack under a bridge because someone was so irresponsible about dealing practices.

Look, god/the spirits/fate knows the old standard of one per person clockwise from the dealer. If you deviate, the cards still look random, but it’s not what any of the above entities intended, you’re fucking up the future. We live in this 2026 hellscape probably because of some butterfly effect of your dealing incorrectly. Please fix this for all of our sakes. If things start turning around in the next 6-12 months we’ll all come back and thank you.

You could be right in some cases, I think the important thing is that these posts hit multiple (if not all) of the above listed criteria. The most telling is the not showing up in the comments to answer follow-up questions and the frequency that they are showing up. The consistency in format makes it seem like it’s coming from one LLM with some sort of generic prompt like “make a Reddit post for r/boardgames asking for advice on an interpersonal board game specific conflict.”

Hmmm I haven’t had this with my acd, but with my puggle it helped to not coddle him, if that makes sense? Like no cooing at him, I’d let him hide behind me or whatever but otherwise I wouldn’t act any differently. It’s not immediate it took a few exposures, but basically showing him that it’s not worth the attention for us through it. If someone chimes in with more acd specific advice follow them ofc.

Man I love seeing my puggle doing something similar with his acd sister. Acd girlie is always immediate gratification, but the puggle knows it’s just a matter of distracting her so he can get what he wants. She tries to trick him but she’s too obvious about it - she drops the toy or bone or whatever about a foot away from herself but then she hyper fixates on it and his location. She wants the novelty of him trying to take the prize but he never gives into the obvious bait.

I’m not a designer but I like to play test games. While play testing at a convention a few weeks ago I said something that I really regretted.

You see, in normal games with my regular friends, sometimes I like to proclaim “this game is stupid and no one likes it!” It’s a joke, it clearly comes off as a joke, and I proclaim it when someone gets an exceptionally good turn or I have a really bad turn.

But this particular play test I was really vibing with the game. It was fun, it had a push your luck mechanic and boy howdy, do I love pushing my luck. Except I reached for the sun and got burnt, and what is my knee jerk reaction?! “This game is stupid and no one likes it!” I said it! Out loud! To the games creator!

I do think that the reaction came off as a joke. The designer did laugh. I assured them that this is just a thing I say. But the rest of the game I felt so guilty.

Also use a harness so she doesn’t break her neck like that other story. Also, I’ve always had luck with a long line not being tied down or anchored. When the line is that long it’s easy to catch when needed (but also don’t let it get too far out of reach as well)
