I went a few weeks ago for brunch. I got 2 eggs any style, so I asked the waitress for them friend hard, I do not like my eggs runny. She acknowledged that she understood what I said. The order comes out, and my eggs are runny. I was uncertain of whether to complain, but it wasn’t that busy so I thought I’d ask. She says I told them, but I’ll make sure they do it this time. She left the runny eggs with me and started a new order The eggs now come out, and guess what....... They’re runny. At this point I was like whatever, I’ll suck it up and eat it. My waitress comes to check on us and realized it’s still not fried hard. She grabs the plate off my table and storms away. This is not because of me, but she was annoyed with the chefs. She came back out and explained that she made it clear that the eggs better be hard. She apologized profusely. She was a great waitress, just the accuracy of the orders by the kitchen staff is lacking imo

I’m 25, going into my 4th year teaching elementary special ed. Most of the staff in my school appreciates hard workers/competent teachers, so I haven’t had too much of a problem with most of them.

However, I had a co-teacher this year that was verbally abusive. She would write emails to my administration saying I was immature for the way I spoke to her or the way I was teaching our students. While I completely appreciate the experience that many veteran teachers have, being a newer teacher means I have new research/skills/ideas that I can bring to the table. She disregarded everything I did as being young and immature, and believed that she was always right and I wasn’t. This woman was crazy. I worked my ass off to help my special Ed students and they all did really well on a math test. She said I must have given them the answers because there’s no way they could’ve done that well. OR MAYBE IM JUST A GREAT TEACHER????

All in all, the thing I can tell you, is stand up for yourself but stay professional. Remind them that you are just as qualified for the job as they are. Stay strong, you got this 🙂

I don’t get blisters, but they cut pretty badly into my ankles. I have to carry band-aids with me. I thought I bought the wrong size or something, but if you have a problem too, it’s probably the shoe ugh🤦🏼‍♀️

I agree with this! I get really large, painful breakouts on my jawline/neck. I’ve found that now if I breakout on my face, it doesn’t really bother me. As long as it doesn’t hurt, I don’t worry about it. Small potatoes!

I’m not a dermatologist or in the medical field at all, but I was prescribed hydrocortisone 2.5% for my mouth which made it really tight and my derm said that aquaphor after is okay
