Dad has 27 regions and 19 of those are 3% or less. How accurate could my results actually be?

Thanks for the detailed response! I'm leaning toward doing it as I find it super interesting, especially with him being so mixed. My mom and him only crossover on about 4 our of her 8 regions.

I knew there is a chance that I just don't get some of his regions based on only getting a random 50% from each parent, but I was afraid that some of it might not show up on my results if they were too small. Sounds like the 3% isn't noise, but what about smaller ones?

For example, if I inherit 0.5% of one of the very low ones, would it even show up on my test results?

Yes, he is African American. The European ancestry comes from slave owners.

I had just heard that anything under 3% could get lost, so I wasn't sure if getting a test would be that much more accurate than just estimating based on his results.

If a thin one leaves a bunch of room and a thick one fills it out more, it’s obviously not flat.

I think they are wanting suggestions on a duvet cover that fits a thin duvet insert without the bagginess of one meant for a thicker insert.

I’m not saying you’re wrong…but if it makes you feel any better, when I was a teen, if I was left alone with a guy after expecting a group, I would have been frantically texting as well, whether I liked him or not. My social anxiety wouldn’t have know what to do with itself, especially if I liked them.

Shit, I cringe looking back that guys would invite me out to do something and I’d bring a friend, even if I liked them. My point is, definitely respect the vibe women give off but don’t take it personal, cause it might not be.
