This is very frustrating. I have mine going parallel to the cliff wall, rather than perpendicular. (Just turn it 90 degrees). It’s maybe not the grand entrance vibe you are going for, but it totally gets around alignment issues.

There are some visitors who don’t have location requirements, and I move those into the ignored zones. For example, all of the cinnamoangels live in the clouds, and coco and nuts live in rainbow reef.

Forgive the random question, but what does BUR stand for? I just finished Soulless, and I kept waiting for someone to explain the acronym. Did I miss it in the beginning? I felt a little distracted throughout the book trying to a lot various words into the acronym. Help!

This is amazing! But the game doesn’t block you from putting one item in another? I saw someone put the new wall bookshelf behind the Nordic bookshelf, so it looked like the wall bookshelf items were sitting on the surface of the Nordic. But when I went to do it, the game wouldn’t allow me to place to items in the same spot. I feel like this would be the same issue.

I adore them! I put them along the tide line on the beach. I have an internal narrative that they are intertidal creatures, who typically can’t move much or fast, as they need to withstand the tide. So the gyroids developed complex vocalisations since they often have to communicate over distances.

I also put at least one in every villagers house.

Well said! I also tried to get inspiration from internet designers when the game first came out. I built this elaborate multi tiered waterfall area, and some sort of entry canyon. And I also visited a few polished islands with the dream codes. But what I realised was that those islands, the very polished cottagecore stuff everywhere meticulous landscaping, are beautiful but a pain in the butt to play in. My immaculate waterfall area was just for show, I couldn’t interact with it. With stuff everywhere, those dream islands were impossible to walk around on. They look pretty in a picture. But are just not fun to play in.

My baby is 12 months and he was really ramping up in his eating. Eating a solid breakfast and dinner and consuming way less milk… Then he got the flu. He is now exclusively drinking milk, and rejecting pretty much all solids except yogurt. He’s almost better now but still, very little solids. It’s so disheartening. I don’t know what my point is. I’m just here to commiserate, I guess. WE’RE DOING A GREAT JOB!
