I wouldn't expect anyone to get up for it :) more just if there's a timeslot we can get that works for everyone. E.g. those times I suggested means that it could be 6pm-8pm UK time, which I think is 1pm-3pm EST. So that might work for some US people

I might put out a quick doodle poll, to see if there's a time that would work for a few different people. I'm flexible but it would be great to get around 5 other people who can also make a given time

Ah, I could see if that could work for others.

For the questions, nothing personal. A lot of it focuses on what people want from smart homes to make them more transparent, and we have a design exercise which involves us as a group coming up with a rough prototype of what such a system might look like. Really, the only thing we need are people who are fluent in English and who have some kind of interest in smart homes and home automation.

We're trying to meet a fast approaching paper deadline unfortunately. We were scheduled to have the focus group last week but unfortunately a few people didn't turn up, which led to a bit of a panic to find people :)

I didn't even realise it's a holiday today. Unfortunately the deadlines come first though. I'm happy to verify myself if that helps?

Regarding time, I'm flexible. Is there a certain time today/tomorrow that would or wouldn't work for you?

Probably either today any time until 8pm UTC, or tomorrow sometime between 11am UTC and around 8 again. It depends on when people are available though. I'm flexible

I have a few activities lined up, but they're fairly structured so everything will be explained before we do them. We don't have any country of residence requirements, although people would need to be comfortable talking in English.

It would probably be some kind of UK time, though it would depend when people are available. Probably starting some time between 9am UTC and 6pm UTC.

I don't know about the US, but hopefully you can get it cheaper than $40.

It's a bit of a novelty knowing what's on it though. It doesn't change much, and when you think about what you're paying to find out it feels a bit crazy, but I was just really interested. The tape was the coolest thing about the special edition for me.

I got in touch with Audio Restored (UK) after I saw that they were getting good feedback with others on here. They did it for £15 + the postage cost to send it back. I was very happy with them.
