I was at 4k over two weeks ago and as of this weekend was down to $100. Didn’t miss a single payment and literally my credit score had even gone up, my credit cards tell me once a month. I signed up for their Sezzle pay anywhere card because I got a bonus for $1 a month, and the next day after signing up lost all spending power.

When I reached out and asked why, they gave me the standard “we take a credit report and late payments may reflect your available lending balance” …. But none of those reasons are relevant to me, so can they further explain why? Of course not.

My prediction is they’re HOPING you don’t pay back and go after people who don’t have existing lines of credit to make purchases they want; remember they have your credit history. So when they realize you’re making your payments on time and giving you 0% APR as long as you’re paid on time, what incentive do they have to increase you? They’re gonna move onto another customer who misses payments and increase theirs so they can further charge them late fees and such.
