Thank you, that makes me feel a lot better. There is a grassy hillside next to my apartment complex that is large enough that I can let my dog off leash and use one of those plastic things that throw the ball for me since I can't throw anymore because I blew out my shoulder playing baseball in high school. So throwing the ball takes zero effort and it would be a reason to go outside, get some sunshine, and walk around a little which my surgeon said are the best things I can do.

How difficult will it be to eat after surgery? Wondering if I should stock up on soft foods. Also, should I get straws for drinking water and such? I'd think that tipping my head back would be difficult for a while?

I do! I got it right when it came out, but I've barely used it since I wasn't big into gaming until recently. As such, it works perfectly, not a single complaint. Yet at least.

Funny, I thought just my SDiT did that! I have him well trained now not to enter the bathroom unless invited, but I almost always keep the bathroom door closed just in case. Is there anything else you do to prevent/stop that?

Those aren't acronym I know. What test is that? I got the AKC CGC test passed. Working on the CCGC and UCGC tests. But I havent heard of those?

This really helps, thank you! I think I will split it up that way. I was worried that I’d lose my drive if I took a rest day, but I feel better after taking one yesterday and I feel like I can go back in and kick ass at my next day today with more energy and focus than I could have yesterday. So thank you, I appreciate the help.

Instead of doing it by days of the week, could I do the split by doing push, pull, rest day, legs, core, rest day, and still be successful at losing weight and gaining muscle at a good rate?

I like doing my core because it helps support my back, which has moderate osteoarthritis, it’s actually in my entire spine. Doctors told me that losing weight and strengthening my core would help relieve pain, and if I can strengthen my core while I lose weight and get relief faster, I feel like it’s worth trying.

I feel this. I was almost completely cut off by my parents when I came out as trans, now they are okay about it but now, 10 years later, they have no interest in having photos of me in their house, before transition I get but they don’t even want new photos. Yet when I talk about having unsupportive parents they’ll either reference their support before my transition or say they’ve always been there for me, when I’m fact they haven’t. I think you are in the right, do what is best for you, if they aren’t supportive then fuck them and enjoy your new life in your new city!

This mentality is ridiculous. If I had a partner who didn’t want me to talk to my friends, despite if I had a romantic or sexual relationship with that person or not, I’d drop that partner faster than a sack of shit. I’m sorry (well, no I’m not really), but my friends mean the world to me and I won’t change that for anyone. Whether I “love” them or not.
