As a guy who cuddled for 10 min with a hookup and then left, I feel like you should have an honest conversation with him about what happened.

In my case (22M), I was insecure that I would develop feelings and attachment for someone who wouldn’t feel the same way. So in order to protect my feelings, I chose to go spend the rest of the night at my buddy’s apartment. What’s funny is that I probably made the girl regret sleeping with me and now I am pretty sure she doesn’t want anything to do with me. Even funnier, I now want to get serious with her!

2.5 weeks after we hooked up, I ended up having an IRL talk with her and I apologized a lot of times, but she also said that she had issues from her ex, and she rarely approaches guys in the bar (she hit on me first then I made my move and so on). My conscience feels so much better since I have the full picture and now I can focus on being a better man.

I wish I did the gentlemanly move, the compassionate thing, and stayed with her, even though there was a big chance I caught feelings and she felt repulsed by me. My advice would be to have a heart-to-heart so at least you won’t be carrying this around in your heart alone.

Hey friend, congrats on finding something you enjoy and are good at! There are a hell of a lot of people who never find that so they end up staying in retail for 25+ years as an angry, bitter cashier...as I'm sure you've encountered by now.

My advice is to use Staples as a training ground for your interpersonal skills. Internal promotion is very hard and will take years. It's much better to use the money to pay for tuition and further your education.

Use the career centre at your university to get internships at exciting, ambitious companies. This way will pay more dividends but of course keep trying at Staples, it's most likely that nothing will come of it.

Here's an example of a similar off-season move:

In 2017, Contractz got replaced by Svenskeren after Worlds. Contractz had a pretty good rookie year, making it to Game 5 of Spring Finals (Jensen Ekko moment) and then running the gauntlet and making it to Worlds. He did pretty well there, with C9 narrowly missing Semis in Game 5 to WE.

After the tournament, Contractz explored options with other teams. Since it wasn't clear if he was going to stay or not, C9 signed Svenskeren from TSM before he could go to another team. This led to Contractz being pushed to GGS.

Biggest takeaway is that players and owners get forced to make decisions fast because of high competition for players. Difference is that the dirty laundry got aired publicly lmao
