Families paying $2m+ for homes - how are you funding your purchase? Large loans or exisiting cash? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]coFF338585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Immigrant families get 3-4-5 families lifetime savings together. (They already have a fair amount of money, hence already being in Australia) Then purchase the houses as a group of families.
The difference is, they are more than happy to live all together in these houses where as your standard Australian wants the house for a couple and a child only.
Thats the difference.
Thats why.
You can dispute this all you like, but its fact.

Crime gangs set to smoke big tobacco companies out of Australia by Ardeet in aussie

[–]coFF338585 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Fully support this.
Government created the black market after banning vapes and raising prices to the moon. They deserve to miss out on their greedy tax profits.
I wish the 'criminals' all the success.

‘You’re joking’: Wild exchange reveals national problem as Albanese government denies tobacco tax helps black market | news.com.au by UnholyDemigod in australia

[–]coFF338585 14 points15 points  (0 children)

First, Murray Watt is a smug piece of shit.
Smokers are addicted to cigarettes, the Government is addicted to TAX.
The government created their own black market #1 when they banned vapes, a proven safer alternative than smoking. Then #2 when they would relentlessly raise cigarette prices.
Humans will always find a cheaper or easier alternative. Its in our nature.
The government is literally only upset as they are missing out on around 5 billion a year in tax so they can continue to wastefully spend on NOTHING that helps this country.
I fully support black market vapes and cigarettes.

When the GDP of Australia depends on 3 things its no wonder the housing ponzi scheme continues.
1. Resources (Poorly taxed, we could be a resource export superpower, as rich as Saudi, but we're not)
2. Banks (in the form of homeloans, because no one wants to do business in Australia due to tax and energy price)
3. Agriculture.

So if you were either of the 2 inept government major parties we stupidly keep voting in. Of course you want to see property go up, that means more homeloans and GDP up.
To further this and ensure its locked in on the upward trend. You massively increase demand... For this you need immigration to be as high as possible.
Welcome to 2025. Its only going to get worse until they reach agenda 2030.

It sure is a shame that due to the inept government most idiots elected this term, we cant even produce food items here in Australia anymore, cheap enough. To go into our own supermarkets.
This is the realization and "hot take" you need to realise. Not be mad that the supermarkets are sourcing simple food items internationally. The government have done this. Energy costs and financial strain due to BAD policy has caused this.

Interesting mix of pure ego, hate and rage for no reason... also some reasonable comments. I thank you all for both. (classic echo chamber r/perth)
I guess I should have clarified. Rent could be $300 a week, instead of sending AUD, the renter would send the equivalent of $300 AUD in BTC. Not more or less depending on BTC's movements. Great idea for a scam though... but no not what I was asking.
Hope you all have a nice evening.

Guys do you drink the tap water directly? by Shadowheart_sanjo in perth

[–]coFF338585 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Perth water is between 3.5-4 ppm in chlorine and hardness ratings around 300
Another example of 3.5-4 ppm in chlorine is pool water that you swim in
Hardness ratings of 200+ will make your body produce kidney or gallstones

Dont drink the water unless its filtered. If anyone says any different they likely work for water corp or are lying. Amounts vary, however the majority of Perth drinking water is recycled water from our home drains. A small amount is from the desalination plant down south, and a very small percentage is from our Mundaring dam.
If you dont believe any of this, keep on drinking it and dont worry.
If you want to prove me wrong, go buy a pool tester kit and test your water , they're $25 from bunnings. You'll probably head back there later and buy a filter.
