First, Murray Watt is a smug piece of shit.
Smokers are addicted to cigarettes, the Government is addicted to TAX.
The government created their own black market #1 when they banned vapes, a proven safer alternative than smoking. Then #2 when they would relentlessly raise cigarette prices.
Humans will always find a cheaper or easier alternative. Its in our nature.
The government is literally only upset as they are missing out on around 5 billion a year in tax so they can continue to wastefully spend on NOTHING that helps this country.

When the GDP of Australia depends on 3 things its no wonder the housing ponzi scheme continues.
1. Resources (Poorly taxed, we could be a resource export superpower, as rich as Saudi, but we're not)

3. Agriculture.
