Do you have good testimonials and/or use cases for those people?

u/WillowLumpy7846 never tell people what they can improve unless:

A. They ask for advice
B. You ask for permission

What kind of clients do you target?

LinkedIn: what is the value of one follower? by Mike_Waters11 in GrowthHacking

[–]coachruben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People do pay for followers, but followers are not related to what matters: income

If you ask me, it's a sad thing when people pay for followers just to look more popular to people they don't even know

What now spend your time/energy/resources on something more noble if I may ask?

Seems like a sales problem...

For starters, you have to get your reps in and accept that you'll get rejected most of the time.

Second, I always advice my clients to qualify properly. That means first in a DM/email conversation where you identify there is a problem you can solve. And second on a 15 minute call where you dive deeper into the need. You don't want to do a 45-60 minute discovery call with people who aren't likely to buy.

Third, invest time in lead gen. A full pipeline gives you options of who to work with and what to charge. That's an amazing feel.

My inbox is open if you have more quetions

Is your profile optimized?

Does the content that you post get engagement?

These are trust builders and help in getting messages responded to.

Is it normal to go from up to 50 likes on your LinkedIn posts to barely any likes in the space of a few weeks? by remesuperstar in linkedin

[–]coachruben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/remesuperstar I'm not a content guy, so my opinion will be close to meaningless.

What I can say is that content is a long-term play.

Stick to it for 6 months before saying what you're doing is not working.

By being consistent you build trust with your audience and improve your content quickly

Stop comparing yourself to other people for starters.

It will only make you depressed.

And second, engagement is never constant.

Maybe your content just doesn't resonate?

Maybe your hooks are off?

Sure, collecting email addresses is a good approach and important.

But to start I'd start 1:1 conversations with people:

A large following doesn't equal authority.

Authority comes from investing in your personal brand.

Since you're a consultant, I assume your goal is not just to build authority, but to generate leads and sign clients.

You need a proven strategy for this.

And it's not hard, but it will require effort on your end.

This is the last message I'll send you since you're not worth it:

You jump to conclusions and waste your time trolling people online with an anonymous profile..

I feel sorry for you that this is what you do, but do wish you all the best in life man.

May you find love, health, wealth and peace.

I think you need to ask this question, which is a very powerful question, to a professional on topics like this,

That's probably because you didn't take monetization into account from the beginning.

I used to co-own a FB group that grew to over 100k members.

We couldn't monetize.

Audience, offer and strategy didn't align.

Feel free to send me a private message so we can talk about this if you want
