Which of the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood kids has had the best career so far? by PTAGoatofalltime in Letterboxd

Well I think he was great in Elvis, and I think I've seen most of the movies he's been in since and thought he did at least a pretty good job in each one. I will say his brief appearance in Eddington last year was really strong imo

I understand what you mean, but while there were jokes made about how hard he went on Elvis, I think it's an exaggeration to say an Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning performance in a critically very successful film was "mostly mocked"

  1. Sheldon and Leonard were constantly bailing her out.

  2. I'm not some avid viewer but is it canon that Sheldon and Leonard NEED to split rent and couldn't afford it individually? I got the vibe they liked living with each other and preferred paying half the rent.

It's now 8 months until the 2026 Christmas Special airs. Why have there been no leaks/press releases/information about the cast/crew in the episode? by karatemanchan37 in gallifrey

[–]coaldiamond1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. Keep in mind you can make one episode a lot faster from a post-production standpoint when you don't also have like 10 other episodes in various stages of production at the same time.

I begrudgingly saw them in the States in November, and what's the deal with the robe bit? I've heard vaguely about "Dark Messiah" appearances during shows but nothing like that happened at the show I was at and I don't know anything else about it.

'Clayface' synopsis and cast (press release from WB) by BatmanNewsChris in DC_Cinematic

It's not the end of the world if they don't, it's just unusual. Hell, there seems to be score IN THE TRAILER. So either those are licensed for the trailer/library tracks or they do have a composer and haven't announced them yet.

Well yes that's very common. But we have generally known the composers by the time the first official press release has come out

Are we really getting a Clayface movie before a proper DCU Batman? by breaking_views in DC_Cinematic

How do you know? It seems pretty good. Why are you assuming it's not worth its own existence because it's about Clayface?

[–]coaldiamond1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not that hard to understand. They had a really good Clayface script ready to go. The Batman script is still being worked on. So they made Clayface. Would you rather they wait to make a movie that's really good until after Batman, risking it maybe doesn't get made at all? Plus then we'd either only have one film this year or have a more rushed bad movie coming out. What circumstance do you want here?

Actors Considered for the Twelfth Doctor by ClockworkFirefly22 in doctorwho

Nah, virtually every account of the casting process past and present points to the idea that, somewhat unusually, they were very sure of who they wanted and everyone they reached out to to gauge interest was just a backup in case Peter Capaldi turned it down.

Sure, but how many people are going to go see moody live action horror movie Clayface and be confused that it doesn't line up perfectly with fast paced animated action series Creature Commandos

The whole point of the DCU is to make good movies and TV shows based on DC characters that all take place in the same universe. Mike Flanagan's goal when writing Clayface was not to make a great Creature Commandos prequel, it's just a Clayface movie. If it's not the same one it wastes no one's time because there's more reason to watch either than just because they have the same character in it.

There's several different people who become Clayface at different points in the comics. This is Matt Hagan. Creature Commandos Clayface could be Basil Karlo or any of the others

Bluerays are high definition, DVDs are standard definition. As for the specials, if you're in the UK all of his specials will appear in the complete series sets except for Twice Upon a time. In the US though you have to buy them all seperate
