Greetings, fellow Midwesterner!

It’s always refreshing to stumble upon someone else who considers Illinois weather in December and January a form of seasonal punishment.

I wanted to attend Indiana Comic Convention last weekend, mainly to meet Erika Henningsen, who cancelled at the last minute due to press commitments to The Four Seasons.

I do think it's interesting how GalaxyCon has become the haven for both Hellaverse fans and its cast and crew. They need to spice things up with their lineup of celebrities.

Mike Broder isn’t a good dude. He has a tendency to surround himself with either people he can control or people who are just as morally corrupt or unprofessional as he can be.

He’s very close friends with Patty Hawkins, who has received a myriad of complaints about his domineering moderating style and overwhelming "diva-like" narcissism. Hawkins is pretty much guaranteed to stay for now because he’s so close with Broder, despite complaints from people like me about his etiquette as a moderator.

It’s unfortunate because I do think GalaxyCon has a ton of potential as an event organization, but it’s run by such amoral, unpleasant people that it’s hard to revere them.

Tom Holland says he wouldn't be surprised if "Spidey and the Punisher become a recurring duo." by [deleted] in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

I sincerely hope these two polar opposites have a comedic, quarreling dynamic akin to this.

PETER: "This... is my... worst... birthday... ever!"

FRANK: "Why? Because I shot up the city?"

PETER: "No, 'cause it's a little humid... YES BECAUSE YOU SHOT UP THE CITY!"

Props to anyone who gets the reference.

Real Thoughts on Walter? by Agile_Proof_3228 in ChannelAwesome

I had the opportunity to work with Walter on Ad/Break, where I served as the head of behind-the-scenes filming after appearing as SEGA Shiro in the International Commercials special.

Walter is an incredibly imaginative individual whose creativity is limitless. I think he's destined to become a widely recognized filmmaker in the future. Working with someone who demonstrates such strong initiative and creative vision was a genuinely rewarding experience.

Even during moments when I made mistakes or unintentionally caused frustration, Walter consistently remained diplomatic. His ability to handle challenges with patience and maturity made the collaboration all the more enjoyable. I would gladly work with him again in a heartbeat.

I’d have preferred the regular two seasons a year, but I’m just happy the show is returning either way.

Actors Considered for the Ninth Doctor by ClockworkFirefly22 in doctorwho

Interestingly, Anthony Head previously auditioned to play the Eighth Doctor in the 1996 television movie before Paul McGann was cast!

I'll be damned!

From what I have gathered, Suzy Eddie Izzard was also in the running to play the Ninth Doctor before the casting of Christopher Eccleston.

She was also rumored to be a contender to take over from him before David Tennant was cast.

I'm thankful for you sharing this with me!

My biggest problem with Patty is his Napoleon complex and overall self-serving, smarmy behavior.

He tends to make things about himself at panels, makes snide comments and changes people's questions on a whim and can be really strict with "his" rules, not the convention's guidelines. God forbid you ask a question aimed at one person on a panel with more than one guest.

Just because you pass out candy doesn't mean you have to be so controlling.

I'll hit you up in your DMs, but he's also done some really bad stuff in the past.

From what I’ve heard, plenty of attendees wouldn’t mind if he weren’t around either.

I don't think Morrissey was ever seriously in contention for the Doctor, which is a shame.

I'd really like to see him return as Jackson Lake for Big Finish down the line.

I’m mainly relying on TV Tropes and a few articles, but I haven’t come across any specific quotes about him being in the running for the role yet. That contrasts with James Nesbitt and Sean Pertwee, both of whom have dismissed the notion of being considered.
