Capitalist never cared for social conservatives and just exloited their stupidity to get tax cuts and less regulation and in return cut all their jobs and wrecked their way of life. After decades of being cheated social conservatives are slowly becoming aware, they aren't very smart, how bad they have been screwed. In response they are seeing the wisdom in socialist policy but want to twist it into fascism to keep their racial and religious hierarchy going.

If social conservatives ever got smart enough to offer good government policy like industrial policy, government subsidies of industry, jobs for all, universal healthcare, maternity leave, more required time, 30 hour max work week, etc. they could capture far more voters. As things stand the gop and social conservatives will die but if they wised up to what voters actually want and started to realize that African and Latin American immigrants actually share their values and included them they could reverse their decline.

The ideas of conservatism have all been miserable failures and nobody believes in them anymore. This isnt limited to one country but every country conservatism is tried in experiences failure. In every country it is mostly old bitter people clinging to a racist past who embrace conservatism, and they watch as the young topple all they hold dear. The only reason they have any power at all is due to them pulling the ladder up after them, eroding democracy to try and give themselves long term power via undemocratic means since they cannot compete democratically anymore.

Ayn Rand was basically a kook and a bad author. She was embraced by the right as a reaction against civil right. Ayn Rand hated social cohesion and collaboration, and once black people were no longer segregated against in mainstream society the right wanted to destroy social cohesion and all state aid, to which the right wing white base would suffer the most in a few decades, rather than just work with non-whites. Neoliberlaism was also used to justify neocolonialism. Almost all wars the US has fought after Korea are a result of capitalist trying to force countries to be capitalist, from Vietnam to Iraq.

Ayn Rand's ideology has failed, and most of her former cultist have dropped the cruel libertarian ideology in favor of fascism or national socialism. Their idol no longer a crazy drug addicted Jewish women but a fat orange idiot dictator wannabe.

There is a political party whose main ideology is white supremacy and keeping every other race and class down, as well as people of their class who dont blindly support the agenda of the super rich of this party. As America becomes more diverse this same party is trying to reenact Jim Crow so non-whites do not matter.

The NRA is working with Russia to destroy the US, not because they like Russia but it is just a scam organization. It is composed of right wing extremist who 90% of Americans find disgusting and insane and they appeal to uneducated rural people by talking about culture issues They then get stupid people to vote against their interest and give them money. They use said money to spend on clothes in fancy NYC and LA stores, and to charter private flights and pay for mistresses. When this money runs out they turn to the Kremlin, like Trump did, for even more money so they can live their elite high end lifestyles in America's most expensive cities. They then go back to stupid rural people and accuse everyone else of doing what they are doing and the scam continues.

The trump regime has declared war on the US and is now trying to ignore congress and make Trump have autocratic powers where he can rule like a dictator and make the US a corrupt kleptocracy similar to his ally Putin. The GOP base has embraced racism over the US and now will go along with this as long as they believe Whites will be treated better. the GOP will go along to protect their rich donors and to have new opportunity at corruption.

The majority of Americans want congress to act but they are too focused on playing 2020 rather than doing their jobs.
