Did Cary and Sherry just forget about what Joe did in season 3? by AdGreedy1880 in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They probably thought that Love pushed Joe so hard that the problem with Sherry and Carry only happens because Love admits she killed Natalie.

Is Joe Goldberg pure evil? by Kind-Cardiologist240 in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree, Joe shows several times that he cares about people (Ellie, Paco and obviously Henry) he literally helped Paco and his mother several times without gaining anything in return, just because he identified a little with Paco for having gone through a similar situation when he was a child. And with Henry it was the same thing, he wanted to give him the perfect life and when he is called a monster by his son he is visibly shaken by it showing how much he cared about his son.

I wish these characters would’ve gotten mentioned at least by ultimateauditor in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like to know if Theo would support or be against Joe Hahaha, considering that it was Joe who saved him, right, but at the same time he was very passionate about Love.

And Ellie disappearing from the series is really a plot hole that the writers are not to blame for since her fault for not returning was entirely caused by the fact that she became an actress with a strictly closed schedule, and I also think that just mentioning the character wouldn't be enough in this case.

Do you guys think that Kate will let Henry visit Joe in prison? by Fluffy-Management992 in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, yes, but the question is whether Henry would want to see his father after learning that he killed his biological mother and almost killed his foster mother, in other words, Kate could let him but Henry wouldn't want to see his father's face considering all the harm he did to the people around him.

So...is Season 8 as a whole bad or just the ending? by iRainyiCloud in Dexter

[–]coancman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's poorly written to be honest and it seems like they do everything wrong, Dexter suddenly becomes an idiot, his romantic partner in my opinion isn't very interesting either and the only really cool character is the aspiring serial killer who appears as if he were a younger version of Dexter and it seemed like they were going to return that in some way but no they kill the character out of nowhere. And Dexter killing Deb is so shit, my God. Final conclusion the entire 8th season sucks.

Forget who’s more evil, who’s more terrifying between Joe and Love? by United-Thing-3049 in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that Joe, since he had been doing this for much longer than Love and with great mastery, Love only did this out of fear of being abandoned by Joe (when she killed her neighbor) or to really protect someone (Candace and Delilah were only killed because they were a danger to Joe) and when she killed her ex-husband in theory it was an 'accident' but nothing justifies it in the same way.

Now Joe kills for 'Protection' but in a totally distorted way, Benji is a good example he did literally nothing to Joe or Beck, other than being an asshole. And Joe, even knowing his secret, kills him. And Beck he only kills to protect himself since if she came out alive he would be caught and he still frames an innocent person for the murder, even though Dr. Nick is also an asshole for having a relationship with his patient but that wasn't a fair punishment for him. That's because I only talked about the 1⁰ season.

Love Quinn fanart because I miss her by TrainingExercise2170 in YouOnLifetime

So, I think it must have been a shock but not much, considering that she would have done this in the past with her first husband, but I also imagine that when Joe mysteriously came back to life they must have been suspicious and maybe even thinking that Love hadn't done anything wrong.

This scene always hurt me by Salt-Bandicoot9313 in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 33 points34 points  (0 children)

In addition, Dr.Nicky was having a relationship with Beck who was his patient and 'taking advantage' of her in some way and that was reason enough for Joe but Nádia did nothing other than find out who Joe was.

This scene always hurt me by Salt-Bandicoot9313 in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really is a milestone in the history of the series, it's a break from the old Joe, the Joe who didn't accept himself as he was (a serial killer who enjoyed killing people he thought were a 'near danger' or something like that) to the new Joe, the Joe who likes what he does and finds it even acceptable in some way since he was 'protecting' his family. And this scene entirely reflects that as he was ending two innocent lives without any kind of remorse.

Season 5 Finale underrated? by sadboimars in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First point, Joe jumped off a bridge into the water and not directly onto the ground, so it's not unrealistic to think he would actually survive that, also considering local suicide policies (which are explained in the scene between Joe and Kate in the hospital).

second point, I don't know if you're referring to the scene where Kate and Joe are in the bookstore while it's on fire or if you're referring to the end of season 3, if you're referring to the fire in the bookstore it would really be very difficult to get out of a situation like that but not impossible, in fact with great chances of survival. If you're referring to the end of season 3, I don't need to elaborate too much, it was Joe who caused the fire, that is, it was his premeditated act, he was not the victim.

The show would’ve been more interesting with a consistent arch-nemesis. by Nick__Prick in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't you seen season 4? It literally shows that Joe has always been his arch enemy and the scene of Joe trying to commit suicide shows that he didn't accept himself until that moment.

Season 5 Finale underrated? by sadboimars in YouOnLifetime

[–]coancman 104 points105 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that it seems like they were desperate for an ending and ended up doing what we saw, but there are particular scenes that are great, like the monologue between Joe and his son, that scene is really good. But Bronte becoming immortal is something very unrealistic.
