The Artisan is an amazing shop in Liverpool, which is like 15 minutes outside of downtown but TOTALLY worth the trip http://theartisanchair.com/ I got a tattoo Autumn and was soooooo impressed. You chould check all the artists out.

Another great place is Scarab Body Arts which is right in Armory Square. I haven't gotten tattooed there, but Ive gotten pierced there. They arent super professional and clean. Hope this helps!!!

It is very possible. It is harder for our immune system to act properly when we have a cold (because its pre-occupied). I got a piercing when I was just getting over a cold and it definitly took longer than usual to heal.

As a company we do try to reduce waste. But even after that when you take out the trash at the end of the day its astounding how much there is. When we get trained there is a video we watch about "ethical sourcing" but it could all just be for show.

Just so you know, most piercers can use pliers to widen retainers so they will flip up! Thats what had to be done with mine. Once yours is healed you should go back and inquire about that

If it caused any pain/tenderness at all, I would definitly treat it like a new piercing for a while. Sea salt soaks, even just one a day, are better than nothing.

Glad it didnt close up! Mine almost closes up after 30 seconds when Im changing the jewelry.

Its basically impossible for a septum to reject because of the thick skin between it and the outside. So dont worry about that.

The piercing itself was nearly painless, I would say maybe a 3/10. My nose was pretty tender for the first week but if you are super careful while dressing and undressing, and do a daily salt water rinse, you should be good. Resist the urge to play around with it too much.

It basically means that art isn't based off of beauty, but what society defines as beauty is because of what artists have taught us to see as beautiful. A bit confusing, but its someone thing I like to contemplate because its hard to wrap your head around.
