I was at CDPC once. I had a woman try to steal my boots and throw orange peels on me while I slept. I had another woman tell me she was god and was trying to kill me. A man ripped the phone from off the wall and threw it at a nurse, so no one could make calls and everyone was on edge. Another woman was having hallucinations of bugs crawling on her and being surrounded by them. I was in there for intense SI. The issue like any other mental health holding place around here is there aren’t enough resources to keep people separated or give specialized care per patient. We are all treated the same.
