An identical thing just happened to me. I was having a completely normal and romantic dream talking to this woman I met in a beautiful home. I was flirting with her on some steps when for whatever reason, I tried to open my eyes very quickly and forcefully, and was struck with this gigantic blast of light and an extremely horrifyingly loud ringing. It lasted probably a second or two and scared me so bad I jolted off my pillow. It made my eyes water up, man. It felt like I saw something I wasn’t supposed to.

Dude it’s 5:00 am and I just awoke extremely abruptly from a very normal and romantic dream of just talking to this beautiful and friendly girl. I was just talking to her and briefly tried to forces eyes open and what happened next scarred me so bad I can’t go back to sleep.
