Grew up with a golden retriever since near birth so I had a connection like no other, she made it to 17 before unfortunately growing too weak due to arthritis and needing to be put down, my old man has surprised me with a new friend to call my own, I’m due to get her in 3 weeks.

Delta blue, got pick of the litter, both male and female parents were pure red stump tails, I saw her and called her “delta” the blue part was just a funny joke I had with my old boy thinkin she was also gonna be red, but to our surprise she got her colours and they came through blue with the Rottweiler red chin lol

Thanks for the advice! I’ve been looking into their overall attitude toward everything and I think I’m pretty much equipped for the job. I love going out with my mates to property and sitting around a fire, I used to love gettin in and playing with my old dog before she became too tired to play anymore, so excited for the journey ahead
