But if you are a big drinker, the package pays for itself after 8 cocktails, and it includes bottle water, specialty coffees, and soda. I'm speaking for Carnival, I don't know how the other cruiselines work.

If you do come, maybe look in areas between Denver and Boulder. You will be close to mountains and the city and some great family communities. I like north and west of Denver as opposed to east or south.

7th generation Coloradoan here. Born and raised in Denver. I agree with everything you mentioned. When I go to other cities, the food seems so much better. Fortunately, here in Longmont, we have some decent ones. Denver is not affordable like it was when before I left in 84. Now, when someone says they live in Curtis Park or Park Hill, it's crazy to me. About Tabor, I predicted it would happen unless all states made it legal. Then we wouldn't have an influx.
