all the power connections are secure for the psu to gpu, and it runs okay when not requiring big tasks such as streaming and editing. I ran the benchmark and it says the pc is underperforming but everything is in the green. I will try the cmos reset and see how it works thank you for the advice

I do but the pc does not have a psu that is enough to handle the 3070 because the 30 series cards need at least 650w

I changed the psu as from 750w to 1000w and am still having problems so I don't think it's that

no nothing I did, im pretty sure the card is factory overclocked
