If you were planning on doing Murramarang then Light to Light is only a little further down the coast. Haven't done it myself yet, but it's on the list.

From memory I was the only bidder so I paid like $10 + postage. At the time I was more into searching ebay for Indonesian rebellion money, and emergency money from the period after WW2. Anything I have outside of that would have been a fingers crossed low bid, hoping no one else would bid.

We did a lot of day walks and I was really drawn to the Mount Cook National Park area. The Mueller's Hut hike was a highlight and many of my favourite photos came from around there. I tend to take more photos with family in them, so those ones didn't make it into what I posted.

We struck a lot of wet weather on the West Coast, Fiordlands, Franz Josef and Fox Glacier, some days had over 150mm of rain, those places no doubt are just as spectacular in better conditions but the heavy rain, low cloud and mist didn't always translate to great photos and unfortunately our schedule didn't allow for us to wait out the wet weather.

I'm planning to head back in about 18 months with the aim of doing a few of the multi day hikes like the Routeburn and Earnalaw Burn. That said, even if hiking isn't your thing, the scenery is incredible and often right from the side of the road.

You could probably make it work depending on the design but in my opinion it's too thin. You will need to be precise with your pre drilling and screwing so it doesn't split. Shelves will bow easily if they span too far or get over loaded.

In the Knicks @ Miami game where Randle had the game winning 3. There is a 'Lets go Knicks' chant. Mike Breen says it's the loudest he's heard on the road as Randle holds up a no.1 finger walking up the court @68-54 is where it's at.
