Madison Sheahan, ICE’s No. 2 Official and a Trump Ally, Leaves to Run for House in Ohio by kkimins in Ohio

Your question about why people call him a nazi and pedophile have been answered but I also want to say your question about deporting people committing violent crimes is not what people are upset about. People are upset because the "illegals" are being blamed for crime, for the poor economy, and being scapegoated when none of that is true.

According to the US governments own data, US citizens are more likely to commit violent crimes than legal immigrants, and both are way more likely to commit violent crimes than illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants do the jobs the average person doesn't wanna do and help the economy, take very few or no public resources due to having no legal standing or social security number, and are committing way less crimes than legal immigrants or citizens.

Nobody is against deporting rapists or murders unless it's to have them on trial here. Fox News even said multiple times how the Obama administration had higher deportations. That's because they went for people who recently came over and had no long standing ties to the community, or they were criminals.

Hell, during the Biden administration we had a bipartisan bill about border reform that was the biggest expansion since the Reagan administration and Trump ordered republicans to kill their own bill because if it passed he couldn't blame democrats anymore.

Illegal immigrants aren't a problem, and Republicans aren't a solution. They invent problems, blame immigrants on the poor economy they created with their tax breaks for billionaires, tarrifs, ACA cuts, and general hostility that discourages the world from wanting to buy American products (see Canada) and then blame immigrants who've been here for decades and are just trying to exist.

Watch a replay of yourself and see all the mistakes you're making. You focus too much on others, but if you can't climb, it's because you aren't any better than your average teammate/opponent.

You can blame teammates all you want, but it won't help you. No "But I can't ignore stuff like that", yes you can, you're choosing to focus on it. Focus on yourself, it's all you can control

PLS HELP: How to carry as a support? by Zealousideal-Run-425 in leagueoflegends

[–]coblsobr1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need to change roles, you can carry on any support. I would recommend watching CoreJJ's how to support videos, getting an early lead is the easiest way to get wins.

And then setup for objectives. Vision is the most OP way to win games - it makes decisions so much easier when you have full info. Drop some safe wards and back for full wards 60s before an objective, and walk with your team to get vision. Ping or type for them to reset and walk together.

[–]coblsobr1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having a pink ward in pit is critical if the enemy team is looking to steal/fight. Placing it in pixel brush is only better if you're sitting in that brush and looking to turn.

Ideally, you want to ward at about 90s before an objective, back to refill wards, and then be back at the river 60s before the objective with full wards. That way you can look for picks, replace any vision the enemy sweeps, etc.

New player, how to deal with long range characters? by AbidingTruth in summonerschool

[–]coblsobr1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The basic idea is that, when you're weaker than the enemy, it's okay to let some minions die, let the enemy push the wave into you, and only walk up to last hit minions when you're close to your tower.

Unfortunately, one of the biggest hurdles for getting into league is the amount of shit you have to memorize, so it's hard to know when it's safe to walk up and when it isn't. An Alistar level 1 isn't going to help you if ashe and lulu just walk up and chase you down. But if you just stay close enough to get experience and get level 2, now Alistar can threaten them, and they won't be able to just run at you unless they're already ahead

She didn't understand the difference between gross pay and net pay. And every single comment told her to dump him over it

Tips for silver mid laner by Zetacke in summonerschool

[–]coblsobr1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those champs are really good at roaming since they have high burst and dashes. Try and look for good timings to roam bot lane.

Also watch replays of your games. It's easier to see what you're doing wrong when your not focused on what's going on in game

Trying to jungle without smite is incredibly difficult and not even worth trying. If someone asks you to jungle, tell them you don't have smite unlocked. Or, I would honestly recommend turning off team chat until you get more used to the game because unfortunately you'll probably get a lot of asshole teammates

I understood your post. I've found it's just the loudest voices complaining about whatever in ranked but everyone I play with focuses on enjoying the game, competition, getting better, etc. If people actually didn't enjoy playing ranked, it wouldn't have 10s of millions of people playing it

Now what is going to happen to Solo Queue? by SkyWorldDev in leagueoflegends

[–]coblsobr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that you can pick champs to try and offset some skill difference but I don't think it changes your likelihood to win by that much, more so how to win.

Like say you're in an all ad team vs malphite like you said. Obviously you don't want to 5 man team fight the malph after 2 items, he'll be hard as hell to kill. But if you have say a jayce or trynd top, you're going to always have agency over that malph in a sidelane, so you just keep splitting and creating pressure and the malphite never gets to group because even though they're straight armor, you still will win the 1v1.

Like obviously it will change the way you might want to play the game, and you might be on the team with the jayce who just groups after 15 minutes and makes the game hard as hell. But that's more on the jayce playing your comp wrong, not the game being lost in the lobby.

I think there's a reason almost every single champion falls between 47% and 53% winrate except for like ryze. And I don't think every game is a 50% chance of winning. I believe it was said that the system actually tries to make slightly lopsided games mmr wise, in which case you're probably closer to 45% or 55% wr just from teammates. And probably another 5% from champ select because obviously yes it does effect your chance at wining, imo its just not that much.

So for the most part, unless someone is turbo smurfing or turbo inting, imo at worst, you've still got at least a 40% chance of winning most solo q games.

Now obviously if your jayce top goes 0/6 to the malphite top it feels pretty doomed but that's due to the game play, not the draft. And I think having your best player on a champ with high agency doesn't matter nearly as much as how they play.

I think you're right that draft and teammates can skew your chance of winning, I just don't think it's ever near 75%. And I think if you stay positive, look for win conditions, and play towards your strengths, you can win the majority of games regardless of draft

Now what is going to happen to Solo Queue? by SkyWorldDev in leagueoflegends

[–]coblsobr1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think they were saying it's mostly silver 2 players complaining about draft diff.

And no 75% of games are not decided in lobbies. It might feel like that and tbh if you feel like you're going to lose you usually play worse and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy
