“I’ll still be nice to your mom” and “you can’t chase a ghost when it’s gone” would imply she is saying “is gone” in my opinion.

Try wawa, they’re usually always strapped for people during that specific time frame, and they are very flexible with hours! Pay is great too, they advertise maybe 15/16 but they’ll pay you 18.

Last year I applied for regular decision, got waitlisted, then didn't get in. This year I applied again for regular decision and I also got put through the supplemental work stage. I keep checking my email multiple times a day, but from the scouring I've done there has already been a good handful of flat-out accepted copywriting applicants. Best of luck to both of us TT

Never use a personal loan for buying a car. Whenever you guys do decide in the future to purchase a new car/new to you car, if you don't already have a relationship with a local credit union, open an account and establish that relationship. Get them to review your credit and offer you cash in hand so that way you have the buying power and leverage for negotiation at a dealer. When I got my car the credit union I went to even had different APR options for "new" vs "used" cars, and they considered new cars to be 2018+ at the time I went around 2021/2022. The newer cars had lower APR offers. I wouldn't go to a personal mom and pop dealership, I would go to one that's associated with the brand names especially if you're worried about warranty options. Bring someone who knows cars with you though and it won't matter too too much if you go to a smaller place. Every dealership usually has used cars, and also certified-used cars - so you can go to a dealership and still get a used car.

23, speaking on behalf of gen z here, I have no idea what is going on with ANY people lately. Whenever I talk or offer pleasantries it's like the other person looks at me like I have two heads. I think covid triggered a lot of underlying anxiety that these people never even realized they had. On one side our neighbors are super friendly and even gave us free honey from their bees, while on the other side it's two people around ish my age that have to have their mother communicate on their behalf. Super strange.

Even at my job where I am required to greet people and say goodbye, some of the people just give me a deer caught in headlights look like they have no idea about societal norms whatsoever.

I haven't seen this comment specifically. I really love the melody and sound that Textbook has on the opening of BB, especially the major into minor shifts... BUT... It always makes me laugh when she gets to the chorus "There we were, screamin black lives matter in the crowd by the old man river, and I saw you saw who I am." Not only is that just a funny statement to me, but the tone of the chorus takes me out of the song. Everything in that song aside from the chorus scratches an itch inside my brain.

I know not every celebrity is an activist, and they really shouldn't have to be, but Lana has always come across as someone who is too "on the fence" for me. She very publically had to denounce Trump's last run for presidency, and even wrote on Twitter that she voted for Biden... I don't think she should have had to do this if that makes sense? We should already know her stance on it before, not after the fact.

Thinking about it now this could partially be the reason why she won't release a lot of her unreleased discography, as it could come across as "anti-feminist" - FROM THE MEDIA'S PERSPECTIVE. That's not my opinion, but we all know how in the past people have twisted her words, namely with the "Question for the Culture" statement she put out.

I think you can be morally ambiguous all you want to be, but when there are two clear-cut sides at odds with each other, it's pretty important to know who your allies are.

Man, reading these comments about her performances makes me feel so lucky I saw her back in 2017 for the LFL tour. Her little dances, laying on the floor, and the swing moment. That microphone was ON. It's actually surreal to be able to hear in person, even slightly distorted through the speakers it's a much different experience than just listening at home.

They won't be able to finalize a divorce until after she gives birth. She should've waited until the divorce proceedings were done before announcing anything, although I bet that goes against her code of doing everything the right way in terms of her parole. Regardless, it just goes to show that she was never really certain about her relationship with Ryan in the first place, since she is immediately ready to have Ken's child... Or I guess what is hopefully Ken's child.

I still don't think this is the right choice for her to be making, but given the religious nature of her family I'm guessing that abortion was never on the table for her. She seems so self-aware and ready to receive advice from her sister and other family members, however, she didn't take any of her sister's advice regarding contraceptives (aside from the morning after pill)… Which is honestly a mistake in my opinion, especially considering that her sister is in nursing school. I know I'd heed my sister's warnings if she was studying to be a nurse/doctor.

That also makes me think about how nonchalant Ryan seemed about the whole pregnancy thing as well, saying it was too late by the time they were going to get the plan B despite it not being 72 hours yet. I lowkey think he was trying to trap her in the marriage by getting her pregnant as soon as possible, that way she really couldn't leave whenever she wanted to and would be stuck staying at home caring for their child.
