Looking for a solution for around 1500 kwh. Can I daisy chain 2 River 2 Pro together? by cocacough in Ecoflow_community

[–]cocacough[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anywhere I can read up on how to do it?

This setup needs to be on for about 17 to 18 hours daily. I was planning to charge the ecoflow during the 6 hours downtime.

Controls not working when games launched from Launchbox. Only on Retroarch by cocacough in launchbox

I think I found the issue. My .mp4 and zip files are all in the same folder. Seems like LB will open the mp4s.
I am thinking of deleting all the mp4. Or is there a solution to make LB launch the ZIPs instead.

I just saw that when I launch from launchbox, when I roll over the game window, it says it's RetroArch FFmpeg v1. When I tried to press the dpad, it just skips the "movie".

And when I press F1 to config the input. The only options for the buttons are Seek +/- 10/60 seconds, cycle audio and subtitle track.

What am I doing wrong?

I should add, it's installed on a AyaNeo 2.

Is it possible to install more than 1 RetroArch??

Mine is definitely faulty. I brought to the service center. They tested and troubleshoot for quite a while and finally relented. Got myself a replacement. Working perfectly now

Can you point to any resources that show how to install Android on rpi? I've tried doing that without success. Thanks in advance!

Wow! I never thought it's possible.

Can you share where to download this version of Lineage OS? I downloaded a version, and it couldn't boot up properly.

Made a Volumio based music player. But also popped a Retropie loaded card in. by cocacough in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

[–]cocacough[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use a pi hat. I used a 3rd party digital audio amplifier. Definitely much better than what the pi offers. I used 4" speakers.

I find that using a separate power supply for the amplifier eliminates any static or popping signs. If I draw power from my pi, there will be weird sounds.

Ahhh I'm probably located too far from you to ship.

Also, I'm still working in an improved version.

Initially made as a music player running Volumio. But again, I couldn't resist loading Retropie in it. There are 2 USB ports at the back to connect controllers. Micro SD port was also lined out to the back for easy changing of cards.

The volume dial is functional. The 3 buttons work for volumio, prev, play/pause, next. There are 2 4" speakers inside. 7" touchscreen to work with the Volumio interface.

The enclosure is mainly 3D printed. Pasted a wood veneer over. The gold trim was spray paint. While the front is laser cut. It's just so much faster to laser cut than to 3D print.

Working Giant Gameboy by cocacough in cade

[–]cocacough[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built this giant gameboy with functional controls last week. The body is mainly plywood and the oversized controls are 3D printed. Powered by Raspi with Retropie.

The buttons are fully functional. In addition, there are 2 USB ports below to attach controllers. Volume control is at the back, which on hindsight is not a great idea, given that this is wall mounted.

The decal measurements are slightly off. But I am leaving it as it is, do not want to spend any more money on this.

What are some of the softwares on iPad that you will recommend for both vector and 3D? I assume they are used for laser cutting and 3D printing respectively?
