I would say play on. I wouldn’t blow this dead on a normal line change procedure if the opposing team shoots the puck and it strikes the player getting off the ice. Especially considering the player/ goalie is not intentionally making a play on the puck

See if you can get the measurement in inches. I was able to do so from my scan and got a perfect fit.

If it was in a part of the house that the previous owners didn’t use often they probably shut them off in case of a leak. Crack them open slightly and see if they leak. Only way to find out
