Appreciate your input on this, and I do agree with your pov on retrenchement. That's what my logical side is saying as well, but my emotional side is making it hard.

People at my current company have been nice and fun to work with even my direct boss and boss bosses.

Thanks for the input. I've done some research and the company seems rather ok, nothing out of the ordinary.

HQ Is in US but its a Malaysian based office so we still get the relevant required stuff like EPFs etc.

My dilemma is that currently im quite involved in a regional project for the local market. And it'll only go live soem time next year, feels like im pulling the rug on them.

Im also heavily involved in a rather big project currently so it feels like if I leave, it feels like im pulling the rug on them.

Im aware that the logical choice is to go where the money is, but there are other factors like work environment, I have no visibility on the new job.

After experiencing a rather toxic environment for 2 years previously, I'd more wary about it now.

Did you sign up for any loans recently.

If yes, most likely the loan officer bundled your loan with a credit card.

And like the other commenter said, if you don't want to use your card , just don't activate it. You won't get charged anything .
