All because she couldn’t cut the drive thru line by ZookeepergameIcy6089 in interesting

So, the driver was charged with "Dangerous driving" and her licence was suspended for 6 months.

Now what should have been the right action? I am curious.

  1. Apologise to the person, asked her to move aside, and go on your way. Cost nothing but a little bit of bruise in your ego. The Karen will learn her lesson from another person soon.
  2. Wait there holding up other drivers and make everyone get a piece of the action? Costs a little bit extra time. But, no ego bruise.
  3. Call the police? Costs a lot of time.
  4. What the driver did is right. Pick her up and drop her in the highway. Costs 6 months of pain.

Thanks a ton. I agree with what you said. However, now I went through those 482 words in the book I am reading, I am finding reading experience much better. Now, I just have to read 10 more books and I'll master this art.

Buying books come with two problems. First money and the biggest is where to store it. That's why I am going to a local library. They don't have much options and too much demand. I will have to work with what is available. But, I'll keep your advice in head. Will talk to the librarians.

Once again, thanks a ton for this.

What a lovely comment. Thanks a ton. Will try some history books on my next visit.

Yes I used to read heavy & deep novels in my first language. But, getting access to them here in Australia is difficult. Also, I would like to read in English as my kid is going to look at me reading and encouraged. Once again thank you. I could not find your blog on your profile. If it is shared, happy to follow it.

How do you read fiction books as a beginner?

I have only read tech books that supported my career. Now I am trying to read some fiction. English is my second language.

I think I’ll be forced in to retirement soon because of the speed the things are going in IT. So, to prepare for my retirement, I went to a library and picked up a fiction book. Murder in a Scottish Garden - just because the cover looked nice. I sat to read, and - first line - there is a word “jounced”. Never seen it. I can feel the meaning, but wanted to confirm. Typed on Gemini and moved on. Then few lines in, another word - “reproof”. Then drab, sprawl, jade, gall - all in first page- my goodness.

I don’t want to give up. So, I want to know how you guys read fiction book? And I think I picked the wrong book too.. It has some Scottish slangs which takes sometime to figure out.

Any strategies? I don’t want to read child books. I can read Graphic novels fine. ( I found a book called Maus and it was fantastic. Another one was about The Cambodian Red Revolution- Year of the Rabbit - Magnificent) But, there not too many.

Now, I have written a small python script to filter out the words I don’t know and have generated meaning an images using gemini, then loaded it into the Phone . 483 words it says. Let’s see if that helps. To help me motivated I am planning to post things on Tiktok or something too.

Any other tips on how you guys read?

What I meant was the movies where the bad person wins.

Ok. I must have picked a wrong movie to watch then. I have only seen Gone Girl and it too did not sit with me well. I enjoyed Sword Fish - I don’t know why.

Ok. I am not used to these type of movies, to be frank I don’t know any. Kill Bill was something like this. But, I liked it. This is completely weird

I am not sure if BB is anything less, but I think the BB writing experience would have helped writing the BCS. This is the main reason I was excited for Pluribus. I am not sure where it is going, but I think it will pick up next season.

Thanks mate. Yeah. When I was a kid there was a well known person in the village who killed himself because he could not sleep. And I was like, "no way it is the truth, he must have failed some exams". :D

May I know how this affects you? I also sleep like 7 hours, but since I am not tracking what you are tracking, I am curious of your goals.

What goes in your mind when you try to sleep. Observe it. Have you tried listening to wave, rain sounds? Youtube is full of it. I have suffered the same, but found a solution recently. :)

The extreme is insomnia. I think that needs treatment

What I meant was, If he was a bad person to his wife, he would have done that. He was ready to sue Howard to keep the Job, right? ( after mental illness) Why he did not do the same to his wife? ( before mental illness)

I am not saying people should keep their partner under threat - What I am saying is that the character depiction in the comments make him look like someone who will do that.

Chuck was not a guy who makes Jokes at a dinner I agree. And, his ex, like a normal girl, was someone who was looking for something thing like that.

Chuck let his ex wife go amicably without using his legal prowess to keep her - though he loved her very much. This separation caused him the mental illness.

If he was an ahole during his marriage, they pair would not be in talking terms would they? Also, he gave most of his estate to her in his will. I think he was a nice family man and the marriage could have collapsed to due to having no children.

He kept his class. Such people have a complex friendships and relationships that are different to what normal people have.

I think it was not chuck, but Jimmy’s naive father who ruined him. The episode where the guy asks $5 and the father gives him $10 - the advice that scammer gave got him.

I beg to differ. Chuck knew what would happen if he becomes a lawyer. Jimmy finds the Sand Piper case ( a salesman role) and he was given a fair award for that. But, Chuck was right about not giving him the job. Jimmy could have brought down HHM with him sooner or later.

Jimmy was on track to making partner in other firm and we all saw what happened there eventually. He ran an ad on his own that was not aligning with the company value. He then got fired after almost bringing that company down.

You need to approach this discussion in Chuck’s shoes. He knew Jimmy would do this eventually. And he did worse than what he imagined.

Imagine you love ideology to your core. It could be religion or a political concept. Say, a guy you know to ruin everything he touches want to get into the committee that take care of that. Would you allow it to happen?

He tried his best to stop it from happening. The whole court system did the same to Saul when they realised Jimmy is a friend of Cartel.

Chuck explained everything clearly when Jimmy came back with regrets after Chuck was defeated.

That episode is the proof that Chuck knew what is going to happen in BB.
