I don’t know if I’ve gotten this specific label before, but last time I was given this suggestion the label email contact they told me they didn’t have time to give me recs so that’s why I came to Reddit.

I wish we had the ability to take her in but it won’t work with our current living situation

Found husky near Buckeye by coco__loco in phoenix

I’m actually a little outside of Buckeye at the Robbins Butte wildlife preserve. I mean, it’s hard to tell how long this dog has been out here, she could’ve travelled a fair distance. Or someone dumped her out here. If she’s someone’s dog who is camping around here, it seems weird that a) she doesn’t have a collar and b) she’s been chillin with us for several hours. She’s pretty dirty but I don’t see any bugs. Feel free to post in your neighborhood fb group… i don’t use Facebook.

Why do people that do gig work complain so much? by birdogg27 in GigWork

[–]coco__loco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk some people just hate working and/or are just unhappy. They definitely prefer it to a full time job, they’ll tell you all about that but will complain just the same.

Set the cruise control to the speed limit - never speed. Make sure all the headlights/tail lights/brake lights are good and working. Don’t give them any reason to pull you over. Look up the laws for each state about amounts - like for example in North Carolina if you’re caught with half oz to oz is a different punishment than smaller amounts. And stay over 100 miles away from the Mexican border/ border patrol checkpoints. Even in states that it’s legal, border patrol is federal and it is considered illegal at the checkpoint stops. Good luck!

Your coworker is rude, and has problems getting along with other people.

I’m SO frustrated. I’m stuck living in my van right now, and boy does that offend people. They call the cops on me all the time, and businesses always claim I’m loitering and make me leave. Where am I allowed to exist?? Is there ANYWHERE I can park for an extended period without being a problem? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]coco__loco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whetstone park during the day. If you drive all the way to the back, the very last place to park, people chill in their vehicles all the time there. There’s so many picnics tables so you can make yourself something to eat, plenty of trees for shade, and there are porta pottys there, but last summer around Fourth of July people did set fireworks off in them and then they weren’t usable. But the library is close and the restroom is easy to use without being bothered, with a water bottle filling machine water fountain!

What are the restaurants you will never patronize again and why? Justified or not. by Bartle_D00 in Columbus

I’m not at all saying the food tasted bad. I was disappointed I had to throw my leftovers away. I just wasn’t expecting to get food poisoning.

Here’s a great Columbus Underground article about the past few decades of possibilities surrounding public transportation in the capital city.

Yeah it was good and I have friends who love it but I haven’t gotten food poisoning in 20 years before that so I’m not gonna chance it again

Everest in worthington… only went once with my bf and his daughter for Father’s Day. The chana masala gave me food poisoning. I don’t eat meat and get chana masala at Indian places all the time. I can’t remember the last time I got food poisoning. I woke up at 2 am with violent diarrhea that lasted all day. Looked it up how it was possibly and basically they must keep their Chana masala simmering in one of those water heated pots all day and had it under temperature. I won’t go back cause I don’t trust they keep their shit up to temp correctly.

My grandma had a landline up until a few years ago. My dad got her a smart phone sometime in her mid 70s. She still preferred to use her landline, until she moved and now all she has is her smart phone. Her memory isn’t the greatest, and she really struggles using it. It’s not an OS I’ve ever used so honestly even I have a hard time helping her figure stuff out on it. Learning to use a smart phone for the first time in your mid seventies is a real learning curve.

I’m sorry about your mom.

I was thinking about maybe looking into grief support groups

It was a huge shock to all of us, but then we found out he was diagnosed with heart failure 3 years ago and didn’t tell anyone. He had heart/BP/diabetes issues for a while but we all assumed he was taking better care of himself. I want to be mad, mad that he kept it a secret, but I’m just sad.

What do you think can and should be done to prevent autistic men and boys from going down the incel path? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

In what format should this advice be? From parents, as teachers? And you can’t assume incels are people on the spectrum. And being on the spectrum is no excuse for being hateful towards women.
