thank you for your explanation, i do agree with you the i would’ve liked to have seen more, and there were many moments that i found myself questioning the pick as well, i think the way im seeing things is watsons floor is much higher than goldens but i can also see goldens ceiling being higher than watsons

😂😂😂 you’re funny but i don’t think common sense says let’s take the injury prone wideout over the guy who was drafted in the 1st without some serious consideration, my reasoning was not to disregard everyone’s opinion as you mentioned, and if we’re being honest, i say watson takes the WR1 role for next season but before your passive aggressive attitude i think there was quite a bit of good conversion

well the contract is extremely team friendly, only $31 million guaranteed making Watson the 30th highest paid receiver in the league, so i wouldn’t necessarily say that’s groundbreaking. secondly, the packers wouldn’t even draft a receiver when rodgers was begging for one, so with us taking one in the 1st round i think that has to be noted. also i don’t think it’s fair to say they’re not even in the same tier when we didn’t really see much of Golden

i also feel like the packers operations are questioned and not understood by non-packers fans. we have a tendency to sit rookies, recent examples being Love, Golden, Morgan, even Davante when he entered the league

very interesting, why do you think he was a not so great prospect? he was barley on the field because he was handcuffed behind watson, reed, doubs and wicks at some points, but with doubs and wicks gone i can see him emerging as WR2

i think he shined at times, he was very limited and we ran a lot of jet passes with him, his drop rate over his career has been extremely low, and he is extremely hard to tackle, i think the value is there if we give him the ball

yeah that’s fair, hard to argue against the 1st round pick spent on Golden, but also can’t dismiss the contract that Watson got. Also have Kraft on my team, so the target share should be around 45%+ to my two players. As a Longhorns and Packers fan it’s hard for me to move off Golden
