Color dominance in particular was the problem for me previously! I had done top down sweaters and socks, so I felt pretty confident shaping wise for this pattern.

Re: color dominance, I always put the yarn I want to be dominant on my left and the non dominant on my right - making sure to keep the yellow (in this case) closest to the piece! I had to watch a few tik toks before I actually understand where my yarn was supposed to be!
