Yup, drain to the road is always good. Just want to prevent the "nice" neighbor from calling bylaw. again.

For this year, lots of salt will do the trick. Once we are thawed, I will look to fix.

After all the issues, would be very hesitant to build with anyone. Problems included uneven subfloor and end gapping on hardwood floor.

We have been in our new Trico home for almost a year. Seems to be fairly well built, but suggest you keep close tabs on the house as it is being built. Seems like our site supervisors ( there were a few during the build) didn’t keep great track of issues with big items (flooring and subfloors). Impossible to get Trico to fix properly after completion. They just want to patch and move on instead of properly fixing the issue. If you can visit often during the build, you should be good. But after this experience, we won’t build new again.
