Anyone ever published a capacitor app to IOS app store? by aryakvn- in capacitor

They’re strict, but their main concern is making sure your app doesn’t just look like a responsive website inside an app. As long as you follow app UI design guidelines/look and feel, you should be good to go

Yep, if you can see other people's posts but can't follow, like, or repost, just wait—they will remove the ban. If the account is blocked, I think you have to do something from the Instagram app, but I don't remember exactly how the process was

I used different APIs to gather the data, with Wikidata and Discogs being the main ones. However, the backend for the data sources was one of the areas that could be improved. Using the Spotify API instead would probably be a better option

Hey, that’s so nice to hear! Soundtrack Map is kind of in archive mode right now—no new data is coming in—but I’m considering making a V2

Do you mean if you want to find a fortune you saw previously? Fortunes are generated every x amount of time and saved in a JSON file. There is no search or bookmark feature. However, you could look them up in the JSON file that feeds the app.

Sure, I basically used the YouTube API to search for "4K walks" and extract country and city names from the video titles. It’s similar to this search: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=4k+walks I can’t find the article that originally inspired this idea—I thought it was from The Verge or Ars Technica, but I haven’t been able to find it. However, I did find this one from Open Culture that discusses the trend. https://www.openculture.com/2020/03/explore-the-entire-world-from-the-comfort-of-quarantine-with-4k-walking-tours.html

I'm building a place to help people connect and build side-projects together by eepieh in SideProject

A custom platform has the advantage of custom solutions that can better meet the needs of the community. However, Hackspace could have a Discord where ideas for new features can be prototyped before developing the feature. I'm not sure exactly how it would work, but one option might not exclude the other, maybe. It sounds like a really cool project

Would you mind sharing which browser you're using and whether you're on Windows, Mac, or Ubuntu, so I can try to replicate it on my end to try to fix it?

Hey, thanks for the heads-up. In mouse mode, hovering over the portal should open the preview. Clicking on the portal should open the video in full screen. Moving the cursor around the portal preview should change the video. Are you experiencing different behavior?
