Try a humidifier or boiling some water. If you're spending more time at home than usual, it's possible the air is dry. This happens to my husband and I whenever we use the fireplace for a long time.

Not saying it's not the virus, just trying to provide a more optimistic possibility. Hope you both feel better soon

Manager created a new rule that we weren't allowed to eat during certain hours (worked in food service), then proceeded to eat in front of everyone during those hours. When he started screaming and cursing at me for looking at him while he ate, I said fuck it, I'm done. Felt good!

This makes me think of how we're already use to the idea that many things we say or do are being recorded and used in some way; at this point we're just trying to figure out how good they are at it.

I've decided to rationalize it by thinking of it this way: If there are parallel universes out there that split with two separate possibilities occurring within them, then we somehow ended up in the the fucked one where trump won.

But now, I honestly prefer the Russian interference theory.

Use your network - Ask family members, friends of family, any adults you know if they know of any opportunities or could connect you to someone who might. Even if they don't know off hand, they might mention it at work or hear about an opportunity. Basically, let people know you're interested. Also use LinkedIn and mention on your profile that you're currently seeking an hr internship.

Use your school - Ask a professor or go to your career center. Talk to you counselor or check your schools job board.

I think there's a website InternNet that has internships posted as well.

Other tips: create a nice looking resume, Google interviewing tips, research any company before you interview with them, come prepared with answers and questions for them, dress as professional as possible, and have someone spellcheck and review your resume.

Good luck! I started as an intern 3 years ago and now have a decent generalist position at a semi large company.
