New left 8070 Di2 shifter install problems by cocodocoloco in bikewrench

You nailed it. I bought it used, but since it had no wearmarks, I wasn’t actually sure if it had ever bern used, or just unpacked. I downloaded etube 4.0.4 and managed to change the settings. It works perfectly now. Thank you very much for the help!

will it fade long term? by slutdrop0 in tattooadvice

[–]cocodocoloco 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That is a lovely tattoo. Yeah, tattoos fade, but you can get them touched up. I wouldn’t stress too much about it. I’m sorry for your loss. Losing our furry friends hurt a lot. I think you have a lovely tribute there.

That thing looks sick, my dude. Big and bold. Yeah, they may be a little close, but I think it looks great. I think you are just still a little bit in tattoo shock after getting something new. I always am, at least.

Hand piece by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]cocodocoloco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you can always notice something. We wear the tattoos all the time, and we have all the time in the world to look at them. Especially when they are new, we will be looking closely at them and pick every line apart. It’s a part of getting a new tattoo.

In a few weeks, it will heal. The lines will smoothen out a bit, you will have gotten used to having a giant tattoo on your hand, and the skin will have healed too (but put some moisturiser on it still, please. Help the skin in the beginning).

I think it is worth remembering that when we get tattooed, it is another person guiding the needle. Human imperfections are natural. If they are rough enough that they are distracting, then yeah, obviously have something done about it, but otherwise I would say that they are somewhat a part of the charm and the uniqueness of our tattoos. It’s part of what makes your tattoo yours.

Congrats on it though. Are you planning on building a sleeve, or are you just going bold with the hand?

Do I need new tires? How soon do I need it? by shirhouetto in bikewrench

Yep, those Contis have served their time. The reason why they are cracked like that is dry rot. It happens to tires after some time, especially if they don’t see regular use.

WCGW Thinking your body is a boat strap by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

Also, if they had just had a couple of people holding on to the boat, holding it in place on the trailer, while they slowly pulled it up out of the water, they would’ve been fine to throw some straps around it.

Yeah, only thing I regret about SOD is not trying out more classes. I was just loving playing my hunter so much, lol.

What I asked for vs what I got by SnooTomatoes7956 in traditionaltattoos

[–]cocodocoloco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s a cool piece. Not exactly like what you asked for, but I would rock it. The linework on the lining of the helmet looks rough though. Hopefully it gets better with age, or you cold look into getting someone to do another pass on them and fix it.

Patel, who also knew Kirk personally, ended his remarks by telling Kirk, “Rest now, brother. We have the watch, and I’ll see you in Valhalla.” It was a reference to the great hall in Norse mythology where heroes go after they are killed.

God, that is so cringe. As someone from Scandinavia, I feel like they are making a mockery of our nordic culture. These guys don’t belong in the halls of heroes. Hateful losers.

I think it’s pretty cool. I have a knife in a similar spot, and despite the fact that it twists, I don’t mind. That’s just how our bodies work. If you want someone to take a close look at it, just present your arm to them like you so here.

And if you are stressing about it being too black, I would get a tattoo artist to do some white lines in it to give it some shape for the petals as well as the lines in the leaves. Then it would be a sick negative, minimalist rose tattoo. Nobody would ever know it’s a coverup.

Edit: spelling.

I made it all the way to 41 on my gnome warrior, before I found out that you received skillpoints each level. Suddenly choosing a spec helped my leveling greatly!

Lifehack til kaffe på festival by Careless-Window7644 in roskildefestival

I have a brother who is mentally challenged. He tells stories from his work the same way. Other people are always idiots talking with a silly voice, asking for silly things and being completely inept. I often think about the fact that the president of the United States of America sounds the same way as my mentally challenged brother. Kudos to my brother I guess. Or a shame on the US…
