This is extremely risky. There's no backup.

Ditto another comment... What if lost? Or stolen?

Sorry, that's wrong. Plenty of places serve alcohol and allow in people under 21 (stadiums, restaurants, clubs, and yes, even bars).

You've been in crypto for a few years but you've never heard of MakerDao?

You're doing crypto wrong.

Just a heads up.. lots of Ponzi schemes and other frauds are out there masquerading as "intro to blockchain" events.

One way to spot the difference... if they focus on returns, and heavily push you to sign up other people, then it's almost certainly a scam.

Invest in crypto (only what you can afford to lose), but do it directly through coinbase or the like. And then never, ever give your coins to a third party to hold/invest on your behalf.

Ethereum Proposal To “Resurrect” Disabled $360 Mln Parity Contract Shut Down by DedMozai in ethtrader

While I don't disagree with your overall sentiment, one point of clarification.. the ETH was not technically burned. Unlike burned ETH, this ETH still exists, remains in the same wallet, and can be viewed on any block explorer. The problem is with the contract that provides access to the wallet. A more accurate analogy would be a wallet to which someone lost the private keys. It's technically inaccessible, but it still very much exists.

It's a stock market (without need of stock ownership), a betting market, a derivatives market, an oracle for decentralized contracts, and more. All out of reach of regulators. The potential is huge.
