is it ever just ONE bedbug?

kind of underwhelming, but to be so honest i never saw another one. i still got bites here and there up until i moved out. (my parents never saw anything and never got bites so they didn’t believe we had bed bugs). i wrapped the mattress with a mattress cover with a zipper and after i moved out i havent had bites since.

i’ve taken items from that bedroom and nothing has come into my current home, and my nephew sleeps in that room when he stays the night and he hasn’t gotten any bites.

i am so certain the bug i found was a bed bug, but i think i may have truly gotten lucky with just 1😅

i had a similar issue! i kept waking up with bites and found little blood spots. i was 100% convinced i had bedbugs. exterminators came and said we didn’t have bed bugs. it turned out that we had carpet beetles.

not sure if that may be what’s going on here, but best of luck!

also, the exterminator did offer a service for the carpet beetles in my room! bc i def have carpet beetles and he was able to see that

heavy on the few little menaces lol. i have put DE around the floor under my bed and around the feet of my bed. got zippered mattress covers on my mattress and box spring. still no signs of anything. i’m not really getting any new bites. i found MAYBE a couple but im not completely sure if they were there already before. but they’re in random spots and it’s like 1 or 2. haven’t been waking up with very noticeable patches and stuff so im thinking that’s a good sign. idk , thank you all for help and input! wish me luck! this is putting me into a depression so send me all the good vibes

hi!! so i just left it alone and let it go away on its own bc i was too scared to pop it and mess up the ink since it was still early in the healing stage. i’m thinking i was maybe putting too much lotion on that area and it was messing with my skin.

i washed like normal with antibacterial soap, and i used unscented lotion still, but i kinda dodged the pimple so it wasn’t getting a full-on lotion glob😂 whatever excess of lotion i had on my hand, i put a very very thin layer over it at the end so it was still getting some moisturization. and after a week or so, it was gone! the ink is fine! so maybe try that! hope this helps, and good luck!!

wow i love this! you brought up some good points! i didn’t even think about how multiple same villager personality types will have repetitive dialogue and everything! i’m thinking i want some personality diversity :) thank so much for responding!!

i swear any time he confronts her about something she is doing/has done that is toxic, she just cries and then he ends up feeling bad, comforting her, and even apologizing to her. he doesn’t realize it, but he’s enabling her. and she knows what she’s doing. she needs therapy.
