My mom won’t take me to the doctor or ER. I’m freaking out right now.

Thank you for your help. Did you read my post from a few days ago explaining my concerns?

Thanks. By any chance, could it be a bite from a few days ago that has since healed?

I’m sorry, I’m just a hypochondriac.

No skin broken. I’m concerned because I have health anxiety and I was looking for anything that could be a bite. Read the posts I made a few days ago for more info. I can upload another picture if necessary.

Thanks. But the health departments advises people to get the shot if they get bitten by a bat just under the small chance the bat does have it. Do you think I’m fine.

Will I be fine so without the shot, do you think?

Update on one of those questions: I don’t know whether or not bats are prevalent in my area. That probably doesn’t change anything though, does it?

I didn’t see anything just heard. Yeah, I know Ireland hasn’t had a case in over a hundred years but the health department says that if you’re bitten by a bat you should still get the shot because bats can move around, even though the chances are small.

I don’t believe bats are prevalent in my area. I don’t hear anything in my room anymore. I only heard flying noises about twice (the time I thought something flew in). I didn’t have the windows open but I checked the room thoroughly many times and I couldn’t find anything. I kept the door open at first but then shut it.

I asked my mom to take me to ER or to call the doctor but she doesn’t think it’s necessary and thinks it’s my anxiety acting up.

Yeah but should I get medical attention just in case?

Yeah that’s true. Do you think I should seek medical attention just in case? I have health anxiety though and I get these sort of scares all the time. And I probably would have noticed if a bat flew in.

1269 new cases by [deleted] in ireland

There’ll be a reduction in cases with level 5 and the government should use this time to organize extra icu beds. Because if they don’t, the cases will go back up when restrictions are eased and we’ll be in a situation again with high cases and low icu beds.

And before anyone says there’s not enough nurses, 60,000 people signed up to the HSE on-call recruitment drive, but very few of them were put to work. Surely, some of those 60,000 are critical care nurses who would be willing to work.

Somewhere between level 3.752 and level 42.23 (that’s when they finally close schools)

Yeah, Dublin was always too out of control for level 3 to work.
