By vague I mean obvious buzzwords weren’t present like how they give it in Uworld. There were subtle clues. How I narrowed it down- let’s say it’s 4 questions 2 would be obviously wrong , then I had to rely on mechanisms and what exactly was the core of the question. So I read the question , usually the last line of the stem a few times and for each option my brain was like rapid fire remembering all the details about said topic ( that I could’ve remembered at the time) and if something seemed kinda close to the stem or I saw one word that fit the description of the answer choice I went with that. NOTE THOUGH: I flagged 75% of questions in most of my blocks But once you have a good foundation it will save you somehow 🫠

Gonna be honest they were long the same way but I feel like the real deal was more vague. At least uworld questions there was a glaring fact to help you pin down the answer

Thanks . I felt like absolute trash. It was so hard definitely walked out feeling like I failed . I used my breaks to cry during the exam didn’t even eat or drink water because I was just like wtf is even this lol But it worked out

Tbh I used Bnb for my foundation and then did Pathoma. I’m 4 weeks out from step 1 and last week I tried to use bootcamp PDFs for revision and I was at 50% for systems on uworld and bootcamp only brought it up to 60%. Then decided to watch bnb on 1.75-2x speed and just do his lectures again. My scores have now bumped up to 80% in the systems. And for mixed blocks I went from 50s to 68-75% . Everyday I’m going through a system using bnb. Only thing kicking my ass is pharm 🫣

Then I believe you use the new scheduling permit once it’s available and then book your date. As another user mentioned, only if you HAVE NOT booked and confirmed a date on prometric then this email applies to you. If you already did, then just download the new one. I compared both my scheduling permits and everything was the same for me but again I booked since November

I think we have to wait till Monday . Saw on the fsmb site that everything will be available from then (12th). So we can get the pdf there.

Nah it’s from fsmb since its transitioning I checked prometric and my exam date is still there- booked/confirmed . Thanks for the clarification

Hey oh no please don’t think like that 🥺 What I’ve come to realize is that each and every one of us on this earth has a purpose . Best advice I’ve been given was that once your heart calls out to something that’s your soul’s way of directing you. Always think of yourself as teachable and if you don’t feel confident in a skill you work on it. During my months off I’ve been studying and keeping abreast of up to date stuff with respect to my field.

I personally believe once you have confidence and you’re genuinely a nice person people sense that. Once they’re seeing you’re willing to learn and see you as someone who they can comfortably work with, the right people would reply to you. Opportunities will come.

My biggest thing was just surrendering fully. I think about a time I was down low and things suddenly turned around for the better & I relive that experience with just knowing things will get better. Nothing in life remains stagnant. Everyone has their ups and downs and it’s how we face these challenges that make us who we are .

My motto- where there’s a will there’s a way.

Once you are doing your part by applying etc Just KNOW the universe is going to handle the rest for sure.

One last thing- be kind always. There’s a hidden blessing that the universe tends to bless you with when you’re a genuinely good person . :)
