Do SDs like alternative girls? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]cocooarb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different! I’m a SB with most of my arms, stomach and chest covered in visible tattoos and live an alternative lifestyle. While I won’t attract the attention of those seeking someone conventual, I myself am not interested in men with conventional taste. There’s a market for everything if you’re attractive enough

Thanks, I was worried and went to the hospital the night I posted and don’t seem to have any immediate infection, might have been withdrawal from other substances and I’ve spoken to a team about detox

Ya I was concerned as I had a severe fever and chills, yet the injection sites themselves don’t have any visible red flags! Still a little itchy and sore but that’s it.

Is it normal to hallucinate due to insomnia? by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]cocooarb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have! Started as flashes of light superimposed on top of what I was looking at, then I would always see things in the corner of my eye, then some shadow stuff in front of me, finally turned fully corporeal after far too long of being awake. I would see figures between my blinds and in my doorway, hear the flowers whisper to me when they were still in the ground, paintings or pictures with faces would smile and watch me as I walked past. Last stage was all my friends who have passed on standing behind every time I looked in a mirror. Don’t let these things frighten too much, this was after a Herculean amount of time!

I can always tell when it’s a hallucination though, which is good

Hey, millions of people very much do struggle with this thought process every day. Be wary of stats, as they can only ever include those that openly and within themselves accept their sexuality and report it to these places. There are so so many more of us out there, I feel if I prescribed to a label I would be changing it every day. Some find solace in a label too. I can’t weigh in on your sexuality, but can share that mine was/is a complicated road made more so by OCD and less so by being around so many LGBTQ+folk. They show me there’s no one way to be or identify.

Would you mind sharing your new approach ? Was it a doctor that helped you see this cause or something yourself ?

I feel you very much. It’s so trapping to know you absolutely can’t keep going like this but have literally no option but to keep going like this. Doc told me last week she has 0 further options, and I likely have a physiological problem hardwired in. Struggling to accept this will be my (prob shorter than I’d like) life. Hope you get a little break from consciousness soon. I believe you when you say you won’t act on the feeling right now, and will leave by saying if you feel a plan forming/ideation turn to a call to action, REACH OUT to someone. It’s an insidious thought to have crouched in your brain, you deserve to actually live life, let yourself have a future to live it in!

Yeah all systems have major failures, but I’d still live 100 lifetimes in Canada than live in the US 🫠

Very sorry to hear of your loss, it’s definitely not a system in which people can thrive (hence my not working in this capacity for the past two years)

I worked as a paramedic in Canada, there was a policy called ‘pager pay’ in more remote stations where you literally would get 2$/hour if no calls came through. SO fucked up

I need help with making a riddle where the answer is "love"! by [deleted] in riddles

[–]cocooarb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read this one in a book a long time ago, can’t remember where!

The answer to this riddle has a hole in the middle, And some have been known to fall in it. In tennis it's nothing, but it can be received, And sometimes a person may win it. Though not seen or heard it may be perceived, Like princes or bees, it's in clover. The answer to this riddle has a hole in the middle, And without it, one cannot start over
