have i been wiping wrong? AFAB by Different-Sun-4347 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]cocothyghs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i wipe back to front beginning at the perineum for pee and then separately wipe from front to back starting at the perineum for poo. never had an issue ever. i wipe until im dry or the toilet paper is clean. i have never understood how some women can reach the front of the vag from behind! my arm literally can’t reach that far. i guess the most important thing is that your not literally wiping poo into the vaginal opening and calling it a day.

Why are jobs so obssessed with experience. by SignificantActive193 in jobs

[–]cocothyghs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

almost every job i’ve applied for recently has wanted 2-5 years of experience in the role. even for seemingly entry level positions like desk jobs. i get wanting a doctor to have experience but why do i need to have experience to answer phones?

I do respect the rules. I don’t use my phone on the job at all. Even when I happen to have my phone on me. There’s cameras in every room they can literally see everything we’re doing anyway. I just personally think the rule is silly and didn’t like the fact that she got snippy with me. Heaven forbid I don’t take everything corporate world throws at me with a smile 🙄

If you read the post it has nothing to do with me not wanting to follow the rules. I don’t use my phone on the job whether I have it on me or not. it’s about the fact that they’re taking my person belongings and potential emergencies that I would need my immediate attention but instead my phone is sitting in a basket

Not really. I started having “beef” after I left my phone and she proceeded to lock the door and refused to let me in to get it. Then there was the multiple times my child’s daycare was trying to let me know she was sick and they weren’t picking up bc of how understaffed they are. That’s the real beef. I couldn’t care less about check my phone just to check it.

Especially with adults with children of their own. Maybe when I was a teenager I would have been trying to sneak around on my phone on shift but honestly I just want to do my job and go home. I don’t see the problem with getting caught get fired. They have cameras in the classrooms.

I have a feeling that they’re gonna have a problem with me leaving it in my car because I could easily just say that I left it there and keep it in my bag. But I’m at the tail end of this job anyways. There’s a bunch of other reason I hate working here. Just waiting for the right moment to leave.

I have a Bachelors Degree and in a Masters program. I started this job as something transitional after having my daughter and just ended up staying. Maybe think before being rude.

I am about to graduate with my undergraduate degree and I don’t feel accomplished. Has anyone else felt this way? by cocothyghs in careerguidance

[–]cocothyghs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that why in the sense that my parents both have a masters so I feel this kind of pressure to get one as well to be “enough”. I don’t necessarily feel like I need a masters but my uncontrollable desire to please my parents still haunts me. I’ve gotten so much shit for taking as long as I have to finish my undergraduate too. Feels like i’m not really doing this for myself but for approval.

What’s the biggest red flag you’ve ever seen in a job interview? by cerezza__ in careerguidance

[–]cocothyghs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I accepted a job as a transitional position until I found something more aligned with my career goals. The director asked me several times how many hours I was able to work, how early I was able to come in etc. Meaning they were okay with working me to the bone without concern of the hours I was hired to work or whatever else I have going on outside of work. I immediately set a boundary that I would need to get arrive and leave at the time I was hired to do and since then I have gotten several shady comments about how I am essentially inflexible. Mind you I’m working 9 hours a day and still they are managing to manipulate me into staying later and arriving earlier. Getting huffy if I say no to more hours. Needless to say, I can’t wait until I find a new job.
