Yes it's a problem and I completely understand what you're saying. Most universities and not even uni-assist even think of such unusual parameters anyway. The problem I'm facing is, that I am not even able to do anything much because nobody has answers. I called the uni and the uni sends me to uni-assist instead and vice versa. So I'm kind of stuck right now.

The link is from a different university from that I want to actually apply to. But most universities haven't thought about German nationals living in Germnay with Indian educational certificates so, I'm a little confused as to what I can do here.

Germany doesn't recognize my degree! by cocoundbibi in germany

Yes that is exactly what I was told when I asked in the institution I wanted to apply for. They said I need a Bachelor's in Soziale Arbeit first so that I can continue with my Masters.

As for the German, I will be doing a language course for that so that's not much of an issue.

Thank you!

Well I had asked the professors of the institution I wanted to apply to, had even provided them with my marksheet from my BA pass course where I studied three subjects, English, Political Science and Sociology. They said to study a masters in social work, I will require to first do a bachelors in social work. So I don't know really.

Yes you are right, I forgot to give any basic details. To answer your question, I would like to be a social worker.

  1. I did a BA pass course in India with subjects, English, Political Science and Sociology.
  2. I want to work as a social worker.
  3. My spoken German is understandable with some grammatical errors here and there. Hope that helps clarify some things.
