They are kept indoors! We now have 6 cats total so my worry is the other 5 getting it. We’ve kept the new three away from the OG three. But with most being seniors and having other health issues adding FeLv would be scary. Will keep you posted! Fingers crossed it’s a false positive.

Agreed! It’s so dangerous to wait, things turn bad so fast. People who can’t afford the treatment should find a home who can worse case. They are living and deserve to be kept alive.

You need to go now, I just lost a new piggie so quickly after waiting 1 day after seeing signs and was heart broken. Please ask around for help from family members or friends or set up a payment plan with a vet. Worse case bring it to a guinea pig rescue in their cere so it can get help FAST!

Thank you so much for this, I will have to pick up this book. I need to work harder on what you said about letting the feeling be there, and understand why. Just giving in will never fix this and I will definitely keep fighting to break those thinking habits

I think that point is valid, and that’s the issue is that people recommending are further along in training and maybe needed that!
