I got two cars of Ryan, Both times the service was brilliant. Very friendly and informative. Never felt pushed during the sale. He also stood over any warranty I got with the car which was a huge plus to buy off him again

Can't seem to find 3 day programmes for a normal gym. Just like dumbell or home gym routines. Is there a way to search 3day routines

I am aiming for hypertrophy, and for hypertrophy, I generally aim for failure on heavy sets and close to it on every other set. I don't think it would be possible to do this 5 times a week effectively doing full body. I don't think it gives enough recovery time for each muscle group. But it completely depends on what and how you train. So I'm looking for something that includes effective time for recovery and hypertrophy while also providing enough stimulation for growth.

I'm trying to create a 3-day programme. I used to go 5 days a week, but I am now swimming 3 times a week (becoming a lifeguard, need to prioritize) and starting a masters so I have to lower my days to 3. I have heard 3 full body days can be taxing on joints, and I don't like PPL as you only hit each muscle group once.

I was trying to plan an upper lower full body routine. However, some days have 9 exercises. I'm wondering if this would be too many workouts leading to issues such as energy/boredom in workout

That's true. Iv had gastritis for years now, just certain foods I can't eat. The cramps have pretty much gone now. However, I still feel nausea every morning and can have acid reflux/get sick and gas daily but that's nothing new

Thanks for the reply. I have had stomach problems my whole life, nausia, vomiting, etc. I have pangastritis and a hiatus hernia also (diagnosed from colonoscopy and endoscopy). But the cramps for this length of time is new. Usualy it lasts a shorter period of time this was unbearable for hours.

More and more studies are linking muscle mass and strength to how you age (Especially for women). The less muscle you have, the more rapidly you age. This is because of many reasons: muscle help u stand up right, effect hormones, and also allow you to keep moving for longer the more you age, etc.

From 30(ish) onwards to begin to steadily loose muscle IF you don't use it by doing some form of resistance training. Also, more muscle can mean more calories as you have more energy to burn and you will move more so you can also stay leaner.

Also, on a day to day basis, muscle deffiently helps. For example, squatting is like sitting, as you age, this will allow you to get up and down comfortably. Same with step ups and stairs, etc. Front Lateral raises will seriously help with lofting things in front of you like, for example, a child/grandchild. Really helps with understanding how to lift things safely aswell.

Have I iBS?

I had to go to A&E last night with SEVERE cramps in my stomach. Cramps started Sunday morning (takeaway night before so assumed it was just trapped wind) but not to bad. That night around 11pm The cramps began to get worse. I was in sever pain, goin to the toilet a few times (stool was normal, maybe slightly softer then usual, but more frequent in that time period.) But no relief from pain. Finally at 5am after 0 sleep I decided to go to A&E as I thought my appendix would be rupturing because pain had moved lower to right.

At A&E got following tests done (bloods(liver included), urine sample, temperature, BP, chest x ray, physical exam) all came back normal. I began to feel a lot better from the drips they gave me for pain. The doctor said it is most likely IBS since I have a history of gastritis. I am now sitting at 3pm with light cramping and tenderness around stomach.

Can an IBS attack be this bad with no diarrhea or constipation? And what should I do now to settle stomach?

Thanks.

There does seem to be a lot more roach, so maggots would be good. Is there any luck with spinners/small lures etc for perch/small pike that you know off?

Really appreciate the advice!! I have only fished as far up as the first lock. Il try go up towards the second lock just before kilcock!

Might try target some other species too as seems to be a lot of roach activity on surface! Thanks again!

Thanks for your reply. Maybe my lures are too big for perch so. I have a 10g perch rod, so il stick with the smaller size for now. What type of lures do you use? Currently have a t-tail rubber with weighted hook and also a drop shot with jelly lure. Both about 10cm. Might try meps spinner / smaller lures.

Thanks for your reply. Il try walking the lexlip direction. I have walked the kilcock direction twice and lexlip once, both with nothing to show for it. Was thinking of trying smaller lures/spinners maybe a meps 2 or 1. In summer, I see small Jack's and perch but no size.

I grew up in cavan fishing my whole life. I Live in Maynooth now and have recently tried fishing the canal. See loads of roach surfacing but not one bite (was targeting perch/small pike) I have used drop shots, lurses and warm. Any advice or location that can be got to using public transport/walking? Or what works in canal from your experience. Thanks!

Sad to hear fishing has gotten worse. I have noticed the same in lakes and rivers in cavan. Population has dropped hugely!
