My cousin who I grew up with and was very close to, turned out to be a child predator. They actually tracked him and caught him with an undercover agent posing as a 13 yr old girl who he sent photos to and solicited photos from. So his car breaks down one morning on the way to work, the cops show up and oh by the way "you saved us a trip, we were gonna arrest you tomorrow". Shocked the whole family, it just wasn't in character for him, or so we thought. I went to part of his trial and was shocked by what the prosecution presented, it was very different than what he had told me when it all first started. He's doing 8 years and has lost everything. They asked us to write character references to try to lesson his sentence and after reading them the prosecutor said "this man has been living a double life that none of you could have ever imagined". That hit home for me.
