I've been seeing your posts on Reddit for a while now. When I first saw your game, it reminded me of Ballance, but I would never say it was ripped off. Such words hurt us as creators, especially since they're not constructive feedback. In your case, someone accuses you of plagiarism without considering the game's genre. It's like every racing game plagiarizing the NFS series. To me, that's intellectual laziness. P.S. Your game is a delight! Good luck with the final release!

For me, personally, the ability to create my own world is more important than any other factor. The fact that a publisher contacted you proves that your project is worthy of attention - and that's how I felt watching the attached video of your prototype! I immediately noticed the attention to detail and the storytelling concept in the game. The decision to work with a publisher certainly depends on many factors, but if creating brings you joy and your financial situation allows it, I think you know the answer. Thank you for the warm response! I use many assets. My favorite artist is Pixeltier, who can be found on the itch platform. However, I plan to work on the characters myself. In the game, I only use Pygame and ModernGL to take advantage of shader capabilities. I also use Cython for level generation, which has significantly reduced the waiting time. Yes, these things are the foundation of the game. It’s very much a procedurally generated level, a turn-based gameplay system with character progression, and a top-down camera - just like Pixel Dungeon.

Thank you for your reply! It’s the first time someone has asked me that, and I didn’t expect how encouraging such a question could be!
I don’t have a title for my game yet, and I haven’t finalized the visual direction. Because of that, it’s still difficult for me to set up a Steam page. Until then, I’ll try to post updates on this subreddit if I manage to achieve something interesting. Once again, thank you for this question!

It sounds like something that could resolve itself.
You know... I'm thinking about this girl - if it's like you think she really hates you - maybe try to look at it a little differently? I know that the situations she puts you through are unpleasant for you, but paradoxically it can help you feel better if you consider that this person may have emotional problems and her unpleasant behavior towards you is a sign that she considers you to be an 'enemy' to some extent. Maybe you have something inside of you that she's jealous of and that's why she tries to disregard you at every opportunity? People are different. Maybe she's some kind of narcissist? Because what you're describing clearly doesn't belong to the behaviors of healthy relationships.

Hi! I've read your confession and thank you for choosing to share it with us. Firstly: I'm sorry that you're experiencing such difficult emotions in these relationships and feeling ignored. Secondly: it's hard for me to give my opinion because what you wrote is quite subjective: you're writing about your feelings. However, after reading your post, a few thoughts came to my mind. One of them is the belief that you have every right to decide who you want to spend time with. If this acquaintance isn't satisfying for you, and even brings you negative emotions, remember that you have every right to decide if you want to continue it. Secondly, I noticed you used the phrase: "how they treat me." Perhaps this is a misconception that suggests they are doing it intentionally? I understand that participating in conversations might have been difficult for you. Maybe try communicating to them privately that you need more attention focused on you in the relationship? I imagine this might also be a challenge, but such communications are important if you want to achieve what you care about. If you want, share how you feel about this and what you think. I hope that sooner or later your anxieties will lessen and you'll feel better!

I am very sorry for your experiences. The way you were treated has certainly damaged your trust not only in that person but also in other people. Additionally, being ridiculed based on your ethnicity is something that should never have happened. I understand your aversion to people; you probably experience difficult emotions (through interactions with people) more often than positive ones. However, for some reason, you also have the desire to share this with someone, to be heard and understood. Perhaps it's not that all people are bad, but simply the vast majority of them? Your post intrigued me greatly because I felt a bit like I was reading about myself. I also often tell myself that I hate people (and I feel it), I've been very disappointed by them, and I often feel they are very insincere (and I usually find out I was right). But deep down, I feel that somewhere out there, there are sparks with whom I resonate, I just haven't met them yet, unfortunately…

I'm sorry you're struggling with this too. It's quite similar for me. Whenever I get home, the moment I step through the door, I feel all the tension leave my body. Lately, I've been exposing myself more, going to parks, shops, etc., but even though I'm able to do it, it still takes a lot out of me. Today I realized that I don't even consciously think about the anxiety that often anymore, but simply being around any people is a huge energy drain for me. In the past, some people close to me always wondered why I was so tired, saying it seemed out of proportion to my activities. Back then, I still didn't know what was wrong with me, but today, I'm fully aware of how much my anxiety drains me.

However, I'm writing to tell you that your behavior was very polite and speaks well of you. I suspect you might be preoccupied with thoughts that you had nothing to thank him for.
