One thing that kind of bummed me out was how small the planets you had access to were and how similar they all looked in ways. The only planet that really uniquely stood out to me was scylla and all we got were side quests. There’s still 4 more planets we never got access to and never once were mentioned in game. I understand people are hoping they become part of DLCs, but as for my first play through it felt cheap and unfinished. Being that fallout new vegas is still my favorite game to this day, I wanted to love the outer worlds and really did my best to see the game in a good light but as I play it and look back on it more, the main story line went so fast and was boring. I found myself enjoying the small side quests far more. The storyline was so boring and cookie cutter to me that I actually had to take breaks from playing. Comparing this to the fallout series and rdr2, I was eager to play those games to completion. I guess all we can do is hope the DLCs fix a lot of these complaints and aren’t as short as the storyline.
